Not related to the scribbles but I found some things that are supposedly well-designed flavour details and subtle ways to tell a story that's not very obvious or important. The statue of Serapis that's outside on the western side of Karanis is surrounded by several blotches of blood that lead either into a house or towards the statue, and there are some swords supposedly stuck inside the statue, probably indicating the strong hatred towards the god by Wadjet cultists.

Another thing that's also probably related to it is some sort of pile of organs which is most likely the reason why there's blood. I spent an hour running around through Karanis trying to find some secrets but there are probably other details I missed. It was just a quick run through the place because I'm still taking the 4th playthrough very slowly and carefully so I wasn't even supposed to be in the Faiyum but the daily mission forced me. You can find those supposed organs right at the southwestern exit of the Serapeion's courtyard. I'm sure there's a better word to use than "courtyard" but it'll do.
