stilll i never thought of using the artificer for this effect , ima gonna try it!Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
I always find it amusing when someone does this with a member who may be currently sleeping with the fishes or has become otherwise unresponsive over the interval... not to mention the potential obsoletion of method(s) that comes with each update.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
Etone, hopefully this isn't Styx, and he can respond to you...

The thread in question references talents and mechanics from before WONY, so it's likely none of the advice actually applies any more.Originally Posted by V4MPiR1 Go to original post
I disagree. There is still a chest talent that gives %15 to pulsed targets. I would like to know if the Tech pointer applys here. And D.Drone+A.Hive sounds great.Originally Posted by Sircowdog1 Go to original post
Spotter + Technician laser pointer is still a good combo, although I think there are better options in most cases. But I would be highly skeptical of the hive + D drone.Originally Posted by SuicideHero793 Go to original post
Try it out and let us know, but also check the dates on any threads you google in the future.
Su, the principle behind what Cowdog and I iterated stands. Dated intel is not actionable, especially in this environment, where the 'world's' physics potentially change with each update. The fact that some snippet may still apply is incidental, hence, Cowdog's request to you for verification.Originally Posted by SuicideHero793 Go to original post
Styx's post referencing DTE, rather than PFE, is a red flag.
WRT salutations, you don't invite someone over for dinner, see them off on conclusion, and then wait until they're a hundred miles away before you wave and say, "Thanks for coming!".
Styx has been inactive for three months. He may come back and say, "Actually, I don't run the rework of that anymore". More likely, he'll be attempting to reestablish his bearings, and say, "Ummm… whatever".
Hence, the disdain on necroing threads.
