Console Season 11 Duels Tier List

I’ve looked on the For Honor wiki and couldn’t find a professional duels tier list (seems to be deleted)? So, I decided to make my own based on personal experience in duels (including diamond ranked play). I also decided to ask some friends of mine who are of higher reps than me. Some things about me: Most of my experience is with Lawbringer, black Prior, shaman, warden, and Aramusha. I currently have a total of 210 reps combining all my heroes. I play the game a lot but I wouldn’t say I’m worthy of the top 100 but yea here’s the tier list:

    S-TIER:

    1. Raider >>> His damage with chained hyper armor, easy access to stun, and the fact that the stun can be used as a dodge attack is WAY too much. Also, he has easy access to an unblockable and his stun lets him chain even more than a three chain it’s too much pressure. And why does he have all that health when he has no shirt on. Ridiculous. He probably has one of the most easiest times getting his guardbreaks in because I can’t react effectively with that stun which needs to be tuned down like now.
    2. Tiandi >>> TOO MANY properties like guardbreak invulnerability and undodgables on a couple of moves. Technically has two openers because all the high skilled Tiandis hang around walls all the time it’s super annoying. I’m talking about his kick if the “second opener” seems unclear. Very good poker and positioner. Other tools like top dodge heavy hyper armor and superior block lights are too much.
    3. Black Prior >>> Bashes seem extremely unreactable even if they can be avoided. And uh, that’s about it. His bash is his entire game and its VERY overpowered especially the bash after light.

    A-TIER:

    1. Jormangundr >>> Bash is way too fast and he seems to have no recovery on chain finishers even if he does. Guardbreak range seems VERY far. His damage isn’t very threatening though and I don’t mind the 50 damage punish as it’s his gig and gives me all my stamina back.
    2. Hitokiri >>> Playing a bash hero makes me feel like Hitokiri can’t do anything to me except lights so thats refreshing. If I don’t have a bash I’m about to get destroyed very badly because of that feintable kick, the kick is so damn annoying and the hyper armor on like almost everything.
    3. Jiang Jun >>> I find it easy to parry like all his lights. The problem comes when he uses mighty sanction or I’m OOS. He has THE BEST options against OOS opponents in the GAME (more than jormangundr). It’s not fun eating a 100 damage Jiang Jun punish. Mighty sanction is his most viable move and he arguably has the best dodge attack in the game.
    4. Shaolin >>> Lots of options and properties. Quite fast and hard to react to. As soon as he sees an indicator he can pretty much get in his triple light or double light into Qi stance which makes him a strong interrupter. Blocking top does give some relief against his kit.
    5. Conqueror >>> So much invulnerability like WAY too much. Bash seems unreactable even if it can be avoided. THE BEST full block punish in the game as it guarantees a heavy I don’t believe anybody else has that. His damage is kinda trash though and full block is quite punishable. His chains are completely are kind of trash, including bash after light.

    B-TIER:

    1. Lawbringer >>> High health pool, high damage, high parry punishes, only opener in the game that can get hyper armor from neutral use, and a 400 ms light. He has some of the highest stats in the game but get’s interrupted easily aside from the shove.
    2. Shaman >>> Lots of tools with bleed pressure. Super hard to run away from and has a lot of leap options. Has life steal options, something no character in the game has except Shugoki. Rather weak damage and kinda whack defense.
    3. Highlander >>> High damage and multiple ways to eat into turtles. Quite nice access to iframes. Rather easy to block though.

    C-TIER:
    1. Warden >>> Shoulderbash is the most overrated thing in this game and mediocre to deal with. He has nothing else strong in his kit.
    2. Peacekeeper >>> Super freaking fast but nothing to do against a turtle.
    3. Berserker >>> I find him super easy to parry even with his mixups and his guaranteed guardbreak after deflect as pretty meaningless to me as it just goes into his super easy to parry mixup chain and is unthreatening damage. The unblockable top ends his chain, but can sometimes be quite worth it. Trying to trade with anything else is not worth it in so many cases.
    4. Nuxia >>> Traps are pretty strong against OOS opponents. Follow ups are good, but overall traps can just be ignored the living crap out of if not OOS.
    5. Shugoki >>> Can be blocked the living crap out of and super easy to react to most of the time. Can be back dodged hard and the hug is barely pressuring. Hyper armor is effective and all over his kit.

    D-Tier:
1.Centurion >>> Slow AF but gets some pretty juice damage punishes......although this is pretty much none of the time.
2 Gladiator >>> Slow AF but a more viable neutral kit than Centurion and doesn’t have average access to threatening damage.
3 Nobushi >>> Super freaking fast but that’s pretty much it just block the living crap out of her and she needs to stay in her chain to do anything, aside from hidden stance which is pretty much the only viable thing for some cases only).
    4. Kensei >>> Pretty easy to block the crap out of and pommel strike is easily avoidable in a lot of cases. If you have an opener, just use it anytime a top heavy comes and it literally shuts down his whole potential but he does do good damage overall and viable mixups.

    Trash-Tier:
    1. Warlord >>> Arguably the most useless fullblock in the game and no pressure at all. Slow AF.
    2. Aramusha >>> Easy to parry Aramusha and really has nothing intimidating at all.
3 Shinobi >>> Can be interrupted until the end of time and erased from the world in no time.
    4. Valkyrie >>> Block her lights to instantly win. The heavy feint to bash is really nothing and neither is the sweep.

I could somewhat agree with your placement of conq and BP. Raider I completely agree with.

But there is absolutely no way Tiandi is C-Tier. I’ve seen a lot of tier lists with this placement but there is no strong justification for it at ALL. A lot of it is just about “no offense”, stamina issues, and damage (which is highly debatable with consideration of the kick punish and light parry punish which are quite mediocre)
Hitokiri is not S-Tier as the only thing that’s really OP is his kick which he needs to get in a heavy for. Hitokiri is strongest at A tier and is overrated.

Black Prior is better than Hitokiri (not considering Black Prior VS. Hitokiri, but how both of them personally do against the rest of the roster). High level play of course.

Also Jormungandr's bash is 600ms which is slow. Nuxia and Warden are not C tier, Warden is S tier and the best duelist in the game. Nuxia is also A tier due to her fast lights and punishes.
Believe it or not Tiandi is actually not S-Tier. But I have to say, Tiandi is 100% not C-Tier. I would have to give Tiandi a solid A-Tier.
Jorm’s Bash is 600ms but chains so that’s why it might seems like less time for reaction but it’s not.

Warden, while definitely not C-Tier, is definitely not S-Tier either. He’s B-Tier at best. Anybody who says S-Tier is relying on shoulderbash as their only reasoning...or main reasoning at least. Nuxia can arguably be A-Tier but may feel lesser or more depending on how the opponent facing the Nuxia chooses to react.

He does have good moves like unlock zone and etc but he uses too much stamina to deal too little damage compared to other heroes. Hitokiri is not OP but he is broken because of his early HA on his heavy which allows him to trade instantly, also he has variable timed heavies
Tiandi is quite strong in duels. One way to start an offense is by initiating a well spaced dragon dodge which is a good way to start, as there are many options from it to respond offensively or defensively if your opponent chooses to interrupt the dodge.

Hitokiri’s heavy properties are a strong offense. But bashes will ignore this and guardbreaking will punish extended timings. Hyper armor is early, but at least it’s not instant. Hitokiri is actually rather slow and avoidable.
