quality of life changes to Item Wheel and Character Movement, and other things
Character Movement
Breakpoint needs to be dealt with. traversing mountain sides is rather silly, with your character sliding down a 40 degree inclines and abruptly stopping from an invisible rock or tree (animation plays of bracing up against something after the slide). The "I can't climb this steep incline" animation needs to be addressed, i feel it needs to be sped up and made more fluid. The animation leaves much to be desired as after it plays input becomes laggy while trying to get out of the spot you're in.
Some other Movement issues should be worked on such as:
Strafing while prone.
Shoulder Swapping behind cover.
Less aggressive snap to cover mechanics. (Just a little bit. I don't want to feel like the wall has a magnet that sucks me in.)
Item Wheel
The Item Wheel in Breakpoint I feel is too restricting and clunky, having only 2 slots for grenades. and having to go through a menu while in a fire fight is kinda suicide and Immersion breaking currently. If there was a way to swap out items more effectively in real time and make my tools more accessible to deal with the threat at hand more appropriately. Also thew Breaching tool/ Blow Torch. i feel that should just be a button prompt when walking up to the appropriate fence. instead of having to equip it. the way its implememnted now makes it more of an annoyance to use (getting to the fence, go into loadout swap it in, Equip it, press F, go to loadout AGAIN and swap it out. its should be made more fluid.
