Things that are wrong with PVE

    Hello,

the game perse is not bad, but it is frustrating to see, that so many good things from wildlands were deleted and replaced with mediocre lazy approaches. The following are a few that bug me the most in PVE:

    Item Level:
Man, Wildlands was fun. Grabbing a vehicle, just going wherever you wanted and having fun. But in Breakpoint? Careful, suddenly enemies are bullet sponges because of higher level. Introducing item levels was the worst decision for this game (PVE). Constantly replacing weapons for mediocre benefits is not realistic and the way they did it definately not motivating. Instead, it becomes a tedious task, as I have to demontage every piece by hand, without any filter option or automation process. This is so poorly thought thorugh, that I often find myself asking the qeustion. Did they even play their own game or test it?
That roaming around this game actually is less rewarding this way is something that takes away a lot of the original Wildland experience. There is a game with item levels, which is exceedingly good in what it does: Devision. Shame on the designers of this unthought collection of ideas. The item level design as it is implemented is the most lazy approach for this type of game mechanic, I have seen in a long time. Just putting a higher number on the same item is NOT creating content. Game designers must have been heavily on drugs, finding this sort of idea tempting. Imagine a Diablo or Path of Exile, but all you can pick up is white loot...this is the type of quality this feature has been implemented. In addition, the upgrades a merely meaningless and when I pick up new weapons I am more annoyed than happy, knowing I will clutter my inventory again.

    Patrols:
Jesus Christ, the terrorist group sure recruited a lot of people. Having guards every 100 meter on the main road and within the mountains, cars patrolling on the roads so frequently, you might think there is a Hummer-Festival close-by, helicopters and drones....and then there is you: Trying to bring a truck for a mission from A to B.
Honestly, how is that good gameplay design? Why are even on mountian tops so many troops, that makes you think there is a stronghold closeby. This is just lazy game design, trying to fill the world's voids with content. Again, a very lazy approach.

    Bugs:
Suddenly interface buttons stop working, you get stuck between items and walls, glitches for vehicles or using items, trying to heal someone in a vehicle becomes a test for your reaction skills...there are a lot of bugs in this game. Wildlands offered a way smoother experience.

    Classes:
Great! Combat roles! Finally! I was really looking forward to this, because it would mean in squad play, that everyone can fill in a specfic roll, making your character a bit more special and also making the game a bit more realistic. A field medic is not a sniper and vice versa. But what did we get: Everyone can basically do everything again. Sure, Not everyone gets the healing drone anymore, like in Wildlands. But everyone can sniper, get the tools to break through fences, two primary weapons (really?) or take grenade launchers (sorry assault, you are not needed). It is so frustrating to see, that another game mechanic has been implemented in the most lazy approach.

Shame the game almost cries out "lazy approach" through the featurelist. Don't get me wrong, there a some nice things, like the new wounded-system. But core mechanics like the item-level design were just the worst approach for a "REALISTIC" game (btw: did you also bring in veterans, that told you about item levels in the real world).

Hope we can see some changes in the future....although I doubt it, as this would mean, someone is not lazy.

    Cheers.

Couldn't have said it any better! I hope this goes to the top of Ubisoft! I was just in a cut scene after clearing a base, as I left the cut scene all new enemies were spawned in. One of them was even glitched into my body who started shooting me causing me to restart over. My guns don't render so I look as if I'm mimicking to enemies. Cursors on missions don't show up majority of the time. Got stuck in the ground and as I tried getting out, I fell through the map. This occurence causes the gameplay to be trash and I'd rather play Wildlands.
