    Wonky Helicopter Damage?

Am I the only one thinking that the helicopters are taking damage while landing? I like to think I know how to pilot the whirly birds in Wildlands and Breakpoint, and I see a major difference while landing, its very easy to damage the choppers. Even when setting it down as gently as possible, landing on any sort of grade seems to deal damage to choppers.

Yeah, I've seen that too. I land and all windows are broken. It was worse in the beta. I landed once and the helo was bent.

Yeah I was doing some Recon/Spotting to kill some time waiting for my Coop partner. I brushed tress with my rotors more than a few times and was surprised to get away with it. I nudged those same trees with the skids just once and my Helo went up smoking ...

    Hi everyone!

I have reported this issue to the development team earlier to be investigated.

    Thanks!

    Here's some lols:

I decided to splurge, and I bought the Overseer MK II. Made sure it was selected in my 'garage'. Left Erewhon, got outside, hey there's my new toy!

    Get closer to the chopper.

    Windows busted.

    lol!

I'm hoping this is just a graphical bug, and not actual damage that the chopper has already sustained...somehow...

Ok, there's definitely something crucially wrong with the helicopters, or maybe its just the Overseer MK II. For absolutely NO REASON, my chopper just crashes, mid air, nothing around me. Three times in a row, taking off from different bivouacs.

    Bumping this.

A tiny sapling tree that can barely reach the propellers on a helicopter SHOULD NOT be able to instantly destroy a chopper................

Ubi really needs to work on the chopper physics. Wildlands was way better than this.

Yeah there's an audible metallic bang when hopping in. Just guessing theres some bad geometry on those skids. Also please look into the super sensitivity when hovering midair trying to shoot anything at all. I've tried turning down the mouse sensitivity to zero on heli's, no joy.

I made a post just yesterday about how helicopters take damage just from opening and closing the door. It is pretty wonky. I've had one somehow take enough damage from that that the damage warning sound was going off despite nothing having actually happened to it yet.
