LIVE Creator - A Fan Made Concept for Player Made Events

One of the most highly requested features by the community is the inclusion of a way to allow players to create their own events, The Crew 1 has a feature called FreeDrive Challenges where it allows you to add checkpoints in the map, which then creates a route for the player to follow and race with his friends, but that was very limited because you coudn't do anything else other than creating your route, so I believe The Crew 2 has all the potential to have a way more in depth event creator, so that's where this concept comes to mind, here are a list of features that could be implemented.

    - The most important part of course is creating the route, but unlike the first game, you could fine tune each checkpoint in the position you desire, plus change the position of the checkpoint pillars to make as wide as you want.

    - Prop Tool, allows you to add props around the event to give it a more distinctive look, signs, tents, parked cars, people cheering and others, with the ability to move and rotate each prop, you could also add ramps and other props to give more obstacles or reach new areas that coudn't be accessible without them.

    - Settings, with the options to change things like the type of event (Racing, stunt, time attack, and so on) ammount of opponents, which vehicles they'll drive, time and weather of the track, which discipline will be chosen for the track (or Mix if you want to make a LIVE Xtreme Series type of event, with that option enabled you should have a tool unlocked called Discipline Changer, which is added on a checkpoint, by passing that checkpoint you'll be changed to another discipline automaticly), what type of vehicle you can drive, music (select a radio or a specific music, or one of the musics composed for the game, or turn it off) and other options that could be added in.

    - Sharing & Community: That is an important one, by using The Crew HUB, there could be a menu where it opens a list of events created by the players, you could also filter the type and discipline you want to play, with lists like:
NEW: This one is straightforward, it shows the newest events being done by the community.
TOP: The most popular events being played recently.
BEST: The overall best events ever made.
FRIENDS: Your friends events will be displayed.
    YOURS: You own shared events.

    - Each event can have it's own description and an icon, and players can like, dislike and comment the event, that's where the top and best events shows up.

So far this is it, I believe such features would increase the replayability of The Crew 2 massively, with tools that allows the players to unleash their creativity, I hope you like this concept and if you want to help reaching it out for the developers feel free to share it, thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing this! I really appreciate the amount of detail you've put into your mock-up images. Having a map creator tool would be really interesting, especially for community-run events. This is super cool!!

Man thats just Wunderfull. Absolut crazy the amount of detail and thought you put in. Sry devs this is just getting silly, even your coumuny is making your job better.
One thing I would like to see is an mix or a class vs class option.

Thanks a lot! My goal is to try to give as much ideas as possible for the game, I love The Crew 2 and I see a lot of potential for it, it would be an honor to share more with the devs when that can be a possibility one day!

This is a neat concept, but I think it's missing one thing: the ability to find an event easily by searching its name, or a slightly more cumbersome random event ID that can be used to find the event.

Firstly, great job on the concept art, looks fantastic. Very well done!

In regards to the idea as a whole, I completelysupport it. I’ve always said an event creator is the number 1 thing they could add to this game. Let us create events, share them, and have a search area to download other peoples events. Doing this basically adds infinite content to the game. Especially if it’s done well, the more options and tools we have the better. I don’t know how likely it is, but it’s definitely more of a possibility than some other highly requested features like cops. I have some hope that an event creator is what’s coming next. Slim, but there’s a chance.

I forgot to add that in the concept but yes it should definitely be implemented! I also forgot an option in the settings to enable or disable traffic.
