Night time does not look/feel like night time. Way too bright

Its really disappointing because i really enjoy the game, until night time comes, which is what i was most looking forward to. I have even tested this on an oled tv and the night time is still way way to bright. I have tried all different settings and it makes no difference either. The night time sky, the ground, surroundings are all way to bright and ruins the immersion of sneaking about at night time. The night vision goggles are completely pointless because of this. Please please fix this. I cant enjoy it the way it is at the moment.

Same here. I've messed the image calibration settings so much. It's always a full moon. It's super bright night cycle. Can we get some variety in the night cycle? Some fog, half moon, or just strictly tone down the night time brightness. I hardly even need the NVG during the night time cause it's so bright

exactly. Its night time here now and i cannot see a thing out my window. I get on the game and its just......... its not good is it. I've been playing it since Tuesday and I've been trying to keep positive, but today It just got too much. This is meant to be a game about stealth, sneaking about. That is why it is called GHOST recon. Most military ops of this kind happen at night, but they've almost completely taken the night time out of the game. This shows the series has lost its way and i am really really disappointed.

p.s sorry for the rant lol. I never come on these forums but i was really looking forward to this. Its one of the few remaining stealth games and they've done this to it. They might be bringing in more players but they're losing the ones who loved the series in the first place.

The games lighting system is shocking period, its that bad I can't even see enemies stood in doorways because every single room seems to black out until you either get closer to the door or actually go in the room.
I was killed by a shot gunner while going through a doorway. He wasnt even in cover but because the games adaptive light system is trash it was impossible to see him, the only way around it is to turn on IR vision but why the **** should I have to turn IR vision on just to go through a ****ing doorway.

This is something I brought up during the OTT/closed beta.

    Yes its too bright
which somehow makes the night vision almost useless
and turning down brightness does not help.

See now I’m PATIENT with the game because it just completely released so I’m really hoping they fix this. I couldn’t agree more with this thread. I thought I was having the only problem with my screen. I messed with the settings so much to no avail. A darker night time would be a damn blessing because for those who like to role play or others such as myself who take it as seriously as possible. Because, STEALTHY IS HEALTHY!!
And what better to do it than in the dark..?

This. There is no point to night or thermal visions in this game right now. They just end up being wasted skill points.
