I agree with all the requests by LaMoi.
I am sure UBi will not make the game offline nor disable the HUD. Its how they want to make post launch money. Its like asking UBI to make less money. Aint gonna happen.

And while many of these ideas (that would make it more hardcore survival) would make the game harder and unbalanced in that way, there are simple ways to rebalance it, like allow the player to take more damage, or make enemies stagger more when shot during combat, or reduce enemies accuracy or speed-to-aim etc etc.
Not to mention - allow bloody AI teammates.

Also, i think its fine if the Extreme difficulty combined with hardcore survival toggles (like none regenerating health and syringes that dont heal i juries etc) is there for coop but too hard for solo, and if u wanna solo, than lower the difficulty. Thats OK, imo.

I have a few gripes with the overall gameplay... and speaking only for myself here they are:

    1) Not a huge fan of the upgrade path of gear but I "get" it... and I'm adjusting to it.
    2) Absolutely abhor the way people run around with these massive sniper rifles on their back. Again- I "get it" but I don't like it.
    3) The "locked down" ambiance of Auroa is reminiscent of a bunch of the Far Cry titles where you could be driving around in an enemy vehicle somehow arousing the attention of every enemy that you see... You can't blend in, even if you're wearing all enemy type gear inside an enemy vehicle. I have never liked that... and still don't.
    4) I can do without all the marking and drones etc... but most of that stuff can be turned off. I do like that it can be used to "learn" the game and get accustomed to its mechanics- but definitely something I'll turn off sooner than later.
    5) I think the health system in general is a bit weak- miracle auto injectors and water somehow make everything go away... or you could just wait 5 seconds. I'd definitely like to see tangible injuries result in tangible performance decreases... I haven't played extreme yet- so that may be where this happens.

I am by no means a ubi fanboi... having left the entire brand in my rearview mirror well over a decade ago since it wasn't producing content that I found enjoyable... There are bits and pieces I like and I've got to a point where I can work around what they give me versus expecting everything to be tailor made for me and I specific things.

I say that as a preamble to the fact that I do like the game and the work that was put into it but do hope for a game mode or editor of some sort that will allow the community to take the foundation of the game and customize it in a manner that can keep a broader group engaged longer term. I say that having no real idea if an editor is available- I haven't seen anything to do with one yet and I'm not sure if Wilandlands came with one? Just thinking out loud.

Anyway, certainly not the best game I've ever played but I'm enjoying bits and pieces of it at a time.

But I'm really enjoying the stealth, the open world, the RPG elements and so on. Themes that are accessible to many, whereas a hardcore military shooter may be more of a specialist interest? Stealth: That is Ghosting and Recon-ing seems to me to be the heart of this game.

For every game evolution, you may lose some players but also gain others.

"Fixing" the game to suit those who wanted a different game may also put off those who bought the game as described.

A bit of a challenge there...
The sales don't seem to indicate that Breakpoint has attracted that many new fans.

Wildlands within the first week sold 1.6 million "copies" across all platforms.

Copies in quotes because Uplay and Steam were digital.

After two weeks Breakpoint has sold just over 700k.

That coupled with the wave of negative reviews(even from IGN who they partnered with pre-launch) and I think the studio is currently reeling.

Since they seemed to want to take this title in the direction of R6 Siege and For Honor with continuous updates over the years instead of building a new game every 2, it will be interesting to see what they do.

Eh...seems more like they wanted to make this the Division, when I was told on the Division forums to quit complaining about everything I hated about the Division because I had Ghost Recon instead. Now they are tainting this series even farther. Rainbow Six is now Counter-Strike in drag tailored for e-sports. The Division is lazy casual cover shooter MMO-lite. They are making Breakpoint into the same. They needed to focus on the campaign, and get back to the authentic military shooter that this game is supposed to be at it's core.

    - Please add a way to sell / deconstruct multiple items in the inventory.

    - Please fix the "Detection" system. I've been detected by someone in a base, ran away, found a car and DROVE away, got tired of looking at my guy laying in a bush so went to take a crap, came back, and was still somehow detected.

    - The Base Jumping and movement in this game must have been programmed by QWOP. I really can't believe how terrible the controls on PS4 are.

    - When I log in now I get 5 to 8 notifications that I've finished the shop tutorial for Maria. This girl needs to give it up already, I do one tutorial per lady. Ghost's gotta Ghost, stop blowing up my cell.

    - There needs to be an option to disable all Store spam / turn all that crap OFF. You got my $60 for a half-finished game, isn't that enough?
