Basically, question in thread title. I want to host my game. I want players to join me and help with my quests. How to do it?

I'm having the same issue, I've posted a thread here twice and opened a support ticket with ubisoft and still not recieved any help.

The 'join public matchmaking' option always forces me into other people's games.
Inviting friends or suggested players 1 by 1 seems to be the only way and seems unreasonable and not the way the game is designed to work.

'join matchmaking' has me join other's games, no matter which option I choose. I'd like to know how to join matchmaking and have people join my game.

In wildlands it was easy and simple to host the match and join matchmaking meant you could host the game. In this game, the privacy option only allows me to select private or friends only.

The game is pretty fun but it is ridiculous that such a simple feature is broken, that worked perfectly fine in Wildlands.

Having same issue. Would like to host public game, not constantly be forced into a separate session with only one person..

Well considering that the Squad privacy options is Friends Only or Private I think it's exactly how the game was designed to work.

Your friends by default can freely enter your game whenever they want to.

this has been a problem in divison 1 and 2 also so ubisoft seems hell bent on doing it everywhere

Division 2 has open group. Random people will join you for all kinds of activities.
