I have many issues with this game, but performance is somehow OK. 9700k + RTX2070, getting mostly 90-100 FPS on very high settings, 1080p.

    That's because you're running at 1080p.

8700k watercooled, but not really OCed
    RX5700XT
    16gb ram
    M2 ssd

I dont know exact numbers now but it sure as hell isnt running 60 stable even on 1080....

Modern Warfare I am playing at max on ultrawide monitor at max res. Thats that 5k x 1440 I think and it rarely drops below 60.

Breakpoint is detailed yes but runs as sh*t...

2080ti would make it better, but I refuse to pay so much for it. Hell it costs more than this goergous monitor from Samsung

    i9-9900k OC 5.0 all cores
EVGA 2080TI Ultra XC stock clock
    32G RAM/3000mhz
Running on 165hz/32 inch Acer Predator monitor at 1440p- ultra settings
When running settings on unlimited fps, it can run-60-90. I felt like It's too unstable for my liking.
It can run decent when attempting to lock at 60fps, but has random drops to 55-58 fps, so I settled for the best performance at 40 fps because it stays locked.

I get around 30 fps on ultra at 1440p I'm still using a 1st gen i7 930@4ghz 12gb Kingston hyper ram with msi Rx 480 8gb what fun hoping the grossly overpriced gpu market has reductions mid 2020 as it'll be my prebuilt titan viper from overclockers UK 10th anniversary I'll have £2000budget however this pc stands strong and costs me & £1500 when it came with a 2gb HD 5970 so yes time for a huge well awaited upgrade for me want something better priced and performance than grossly greedy nvidia rtx 2080ti rippoff and my new cpu will be min of 5ghz prob Intel

That's awful FPS for that kind of a rig

why don't you guys look at your cpu usage...

and then google cpu bound games.

wildlands was cpu bound, relied more on cpu power than gpu.

no reason not to think breakpoint is any different.

thought it depends on cpu & speed. as some of you say it's smooth while other say it's not.

it's the lack of optimization on the pc.

    you have two options:

    1) overclock till fps is steady in most built up area of the game (don't go by average fps out in the open with no buildings etc)
    then do 2)

    or

    2) enable fast sync (if on nvidia) and lock fps to whatever is the max stable framerate you get in the most built up area of the game

there was one place in wildlands that i got max 45-50 no matter how much action was happening, but out in the open space it was solid 60.

i just said f it and locked the fps to 30 (console speed) and then enabled fast sync which makes it dead smooth (vsync without lag or micro stutters)

i've done the same with breakpoint it's been 100% playable. @1080p

for unoptimized games i just give up on running @ 60fps and lock it to whatever feels smooth. i hate stutters from inconsistant framerates.

no prob with id engine games those run 100+ fps.

maybe if they used dx12 instead of 11 the fps might of been better.

30FPS on a PC monitor is horrid to play, I envy you if you can stomach it, makes me nauseous

i7 @ 5.2 GHZ should not be too low of a CPU
