Well I upgraded my GPU to a 5700xt. Curious to see if it makes any real difference.

To me, this game looks better than wildlands in 4k Ultra and I am getting better FPS in Breakpoint. In erewhon 60 FPS, and in the world 45 minimum and peaks at 50 which in wildlands seemed to just hover right at 45 and sometimes drop to 40.
    Win 10
i8 8086 overclocked to 4.3ghz boosting to 5 liquid cooled
    32gb Ram
    m.2 SSD
    1080ti Not Overclocked

Both are very playable at those frame rates and there is no stutter.

i3 9100f 1050ti 16 ram - I'm doing fine. At high preset and very high distance and AO I get 40-50 frames. The only place where my FPS fell until 25-30 this Base "shark." I looked at the video on YouTube and there the person has the same problem. -20 FPS =(

    Mix of high/very high.

    I7 5820k, 16gb ddr4 and asus rog strix 2060OC (the non-super version)

60fps overall, but in some places I get weird fps drops or some places when you zoom in and out with a scope.
No settings change seems to matter or have any effect.
I can set things to a mix of ultra/very high though but due to the weird fps drops I’m trying different settings to see if I can find the culprit.

Geez some of your rigs are pretty sexy...makes me not even want to admit my weak rig. My power supply went out on the PC I built (it was getting outdated anyway) and being impatient I just went to BestBuy and got a CyberPower rig for like $800 lol. Now this thing is almost 2 years old so I'll probably need to upgrade again but:

    Win 10
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 six core, not OC'd
    Radeon RX 580 4GB, not OC'd
LG IPS 22" inch gaming screen
    24GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4
    1TB 7200rpm HD

Playing at 1920x1080 on medium settings 60hz VSYNC on, motion blur and bloom off I maintain 55-60fps. High settings I get around 45-50fps. I'm about to set everything on high and try the "get rid of the yellow dot" thing the video showed. I should also mention I ALWAYS have MSI Afterburner running with GPU fan speed set to auto so it keeps my GPU nice and cool - haven't seen my GPU temp go over 150 deg farenheit. I also have my PC setup to not allow a ton of Win10's processes to ever run (automatic updates, cortana etc etc). In open beta and launch, everything was smooth as butter - then a few days ago I started to notice a slight drop in fps near some buildings or when there was lot of dead bodies piled up in one area when attacking bases. Upgraded my driver from Adrenaline 19.9.3 to Adrenaline 19.10.1 last night and now the fps drop is gone and the little message I was getting on the main screen about "not playing on the latest drivers may impact performance" has gone away.

EDIT: Well, tried the yellow dot thing and even minimized the uplay launcher. Saw no difference than the fps I was getting before on medium vs high - on high I was getting 55-60fps in Erewon which was a little jump but then I went to a base and got the same 45-50. Could probably tweak some of the settings and get a few more fps but I think I'll just stick to medium for now and keep everything the way it was.

It's interesting...I upgraded my GPU to a 5700xt and over clicked my cpu and the frame rate is much improved in some areas but remains unstable around buildings for some reason.
