I am only getting 35fps to 50fps on 1440p on either very high or ultra settings.
Every other game that I have played that came out this year has been alot better in performance. I get atleast 60fps usually higher between 70fps and 100fps on 1440p on highest settings on those games.
I have an i7-6700, 16gb, and rtx 2070.
What's your fps in GR Breakpoint?
i7 6700k not overclocked.
16GB DDR4 3000Mhz but running at 2666 (a few stability problems with ram)
Corsair PT510 960GB M.2 Nvme
GTX 1070 super jetstream
3440x1440
Latest Nvidia drivers
running very high preset
bloom turned off
motion blur turned off
Average FPS 55
lows 48/49
Game is as smooth as butter for me even though I'm in 2k and ultrawide drops performance by 25%
anyone not getting the performance they want should make sure they have the latest driver (although the best drivers are usually released a few weeks after the game)
and lower or change some of the settings that really hurt FPS.
Seriously, 55-85fps with a 2080ti 2k res...Good grief, what garbage optimization.Originally Posted by Flanker1Six Go to original post
I do have the latest drivers for my gpu and for windows, and zi have lowered the graphics settings in game to all high at 1440p and still the same performance, also I have tried high/very high/ultra graphical settings at 1080p and same performace.Originally Posted by strigoi1958 Go to original post
It seems like no matter what I try I get 35fps to 50fps, and it should be atleast 60fps and higher.
I don't understand why not.

Also, TXAA (Temporal Injection Anti-aliasing) enabled does give a small boost to FPS at the cost of clarity. With AA disabled FPS drops to Average of 30ish FPS. Note, anything about 2k FPS goes out the window.
I'm going to OC my gpu some more and see how far I can push it.
