Ubisoft,
So I reluctantly splurged and preordered the ultimate edition. First off the game is gorgeous and it has great potential with the right fixes. I am finding the majority of the game play enjoyable, minus the looting and gear score aspect. But that aside, I just wanted to voice some concern and frustration towards basic things being locked behind loot boxes and micro transactions. Ie: clothing, clothing camo/skins and weapon paints. Things that wildlands had to everyone for free. Even me who did not preorder and just bought the basic game after release. In this regard, I got more content. Like I said before, with breakpoint I went all in. I figured why not, I had thousands of hours in the previous PVE I’ll probably do the same with the new installment. With breakpoint seeing how I paid as much money as I did; why on earth don’t we, as gold or ultimate edition customers, get access to everything? Especially everything cosmetic! Now you are asking us for more money just to have a character comparable to the basic one in wildlands?! To say I’m frustrated is an understatement. If you guys cared at all you’d give gold and ultimate edition preorders acces to all cosmetic items. That should be a no brainer. People who gave you a large portion of money before even really seeing all of the game. To be asking us for more money is outrageous! This was my first but most definitely will be my last limited edition preorder from Ubisoft I take part in. It’s sad that company’s are driving their hard core fans of this franchise away over this kind of greed.
I agree bro! I love this company and I loved Wildlands and I didn’t preorder it yet I have at least 200 hours on it and loved it. So when I do breakpoint I was pumped and got the ultimate edition.. sadly I don’t see any difference right now between standard and ultimate.. it’s really sad and I feel really cheated out of my hard earn money.. please listen to this man Ubisoft and give the people that paid OVER $100 there stuff..
EA is going to sell out to the rug rat squads over serious gamers that want to have realism. It is obvious because the entire original information we were sold is non existent due to rugrats complaining about the difficulty of the game. They will kill the hill slides next all because enough ADHD kids cannot stop sprinting long enough to go down a incline. I find it sad and game will probably end up being the next Battlefield v or COD. For those who want realism on console Spring 2020 insurgency sandstorm release. Very realistic on pc. Other pc games that are awesome without quite the in depth details like Arma III are squad and Ground Branch.
I completely agree with the fact that content is only attainable through buying credits. I paid 179.19 when all was said and done with tax and such for the ultimate edition. It is really a greedy slap in the face to want more after going all in. I'm glad I didn't opt for the Wolf pack. I have countless hours on WL, and I did buy credits for weapon packs so I'd have them accessible on a new start. Buying packs is one thing, but it's gone to far when asking or expecting us to pay for cosmetics. One of the things about these games is the customization of your character, and changing item and clothes etc etc throughout the game. It's part of the fun of it. Being not generic. I agree with the option to buy credits to obtain specific items if you don't want to search for them and acquire them that way. This needs to be addressed.
