That's what I did myself.

Typical faults in the Xbox controller are trigger and paddle wear, which greatly affect the good progress of the game.

I have a similar problem now

I upgraded from the Series 1 Elite recently to the Series 2

My series 1 is fine, when i hold LT to ADS after a few seconds it zooms further, and the heart beat / breath hold commences

Since switching series 2, hold the LT and it will ADS but not switch to breath hold

No trigger locks on or anything like that, haven't changed any settings

Any one else encountered this (and I don't want to switch the button to LB / RB, i'd like to keep it at LT)

Perhaps my series 2 is a dud?
