Sniper Can't hold my breath | Forums

SO I am a sniper ... have the perk to hold my breath, but when I try i never get the heartbeat sound or anything ... I am trying to get past level sniper and have over hundred kills . I also played with the button configs nothing works ... BTW [I am using the TC50 and T5xi scope ?

recon doesnt reconize the paddle controls for the elite controller ... the default button config sat the LT hold to aim and hold to hold your breath .... when i press and hold LT never get the heartbeat sound.... so i reassigned the hold breath function to LB and now it seems to work.

As the other guy said, reassign the button to a different button, I used RB for mine.. also, I can hold my breath in any class, if it's a sniper or dmr, that should work. Doesn't matter the class.

I have an issue where my scope blurs for a few seconds when going into and coming out of breath control. At first, I thought this was just a horrible machanic of the game, but this does not happen on the PC version. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone with a possible fix for this issue? It really throws off the timing of the shots on both ends making sniping REALLY bad. Thanks for any suggestions you all might have.

At first, I thought this was just a horrible machanic of the game, but this does not happen on the PC version. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone with a possible fix for this issue? It really throws off the timing of the shots on both ends making sniping REALLY bad. Thanks for any suggestions you all might have.

Yea I have the same issue, I’ve noticed that it’s also loading my game in the exact location and situation I left the game in. Ie standing in a river quit game, lid a another title- then go back to ghost recon and load game and I’m standing in river with two bullets in magazine. Where as before this scope/aim issue happened it would load me in Bivouac or a settlement. Not sure what that means exactly but I’ve tried everything to fix it.(except for uninstalling it) Also worth noting is I had this issue in the Beta, did you guys have issues with it there too? I just uninstalled the beta as I was told it could carry over somehow to the full game.

So I was able to resolve the issue by simply switching my hair pin triggers off on the LT aim button.
