I played the OTT, and both Beta’s. It was alright. Not bad. But it wasn’t great.Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post

There’s alot of minor changes made to the gameplay from Wildlands I didn’t like.
The final nail in the coffin was how they nerfed the survival mechanics which was what I was most looking forward to. The super human health regen, the infinite bandages, the iron man stamina.... killed any sense of survival.
And then as expected the forum is lit up with server issues.
Forget that..... I don’t want to pay to be frustrated.
I’ll wait. Deep sale maybe. Hopefully they may end up implementing a offline mode if the game tanks...
I don’t like the direction Ubisoft is going ....
I was watching footage of Splinter Cell earlier, Miss that game. And now you think are they gonna just screw that one over as well, fill it with levelled enemies and micro transactions...
Urrrghhhh.
Ubisoft need to take this one on the nose — otherwise this games design that is so clearly only meant to serve monetisation will be rolled out over every game they do!
NO. NO THANK YOU UBISOFT.
This unchecked greed needs to be shown up for what it is.
Folks — this is not simply about whether the micro transactions in this game can be ignored!
It’s about the fact the Ghost Recon got shafted!
The key point is the game got rebuilt from the ground up to include loads of totally ill fitting, shoehorned in systems and mechanics that ultimately diluted the core Ghost Recon experience! And purely in the pursuit of serving a higher purpose — money!
Ghost Recon was subsequently made the the vehicle of Ubisofts greedy aspirations and we ended up getting a subpar Ghost Recon because of it.
