The Hill slide factor needs to be toned down a bit.
Not removed, just toned down,I'm sliding and slipping way too easy.
And as a hiker/climber who averages 18-24 gs backpacks on 6-8 day hikes, there is no good reason why my character should fumble down slight gradients like he has a broken leg.
I love the controlled slide idea, pls don't get rid of it,bit it needs to be addressed.
Either that or the perception of speed that the feedback gives needs to be addressed.

1.1
My avatar's running animation looks like he has a severe injury, and I sprint and run a lot in game.
It is an eyesore at times - This is personal preference however.
With that said, there is a very real lag factor I am experiencing when I am trying to do anything,as in my response times from keyboard/mouse input to actionable
in game reaction is enough for me to have to compensate for it.
Its is fractional, but enough to be noticeable.
This is not on my side, hardware or software.
There lacks a crispness.
Who knows, maybe the perks unlock features that turn my ghost into an actual ghost..or..its a glitch that can be remedied with a patch.

2:Vehicles
The gear ratios vs sound feedback and actual power delivery is wonky and off.
As a farming simulator fan who has tweaked many gear ratios in ini files for mods to have a unique character and balanced performance, I don't see why this is an issue.
I have driven stick for close to 22 years now,and these vehicles sound like they are being massacred by a newby used to autos driving stick for the 1st time.

2.1:
I do suspect however that it only compounds another issue,as with the hill sliding I feel the feedback regarding the actual speed one is traveling vs the terrain movement etc is off. The sensory feedback I am getting, sound movement etc.
I am not a game dev, so I cant pin a source, only give my feedback..
The one area where I experience this clear as day is when i pull the handbrake.
Because I would be driving ,anticipating the sensed speed and adjusting to do a slide and suddenly it feels like I've actually been driving 20+miles an hour faster than I perceived I was.

I can live with the above,if the handbrake was re-balanced back to wild lands specs, and the gearing was sorted out.
The driving itself is very nice and a big upgrade from wild lands, even bikes are worth riding now and choppers feel less spongy.
So just the gearing and handbrake, then I suspect driving is waxed.
As the gearing sounds and actual performance gives a false perception of actual speed.
And the handbrake just completely compounds that.

I am enjoying the game and will add to this thread as time goes on if needed.
