Sorry L-Spitter, no pics to post. But I used to use the x45 and 3D Gold together. Generally I find the 3D Gold to be good but I keep snapping the triggers off. So, I've had quite a few #d Golds.

I was using the X45 throttle only. To be honest the X45 is **** and made for smaller hands. With the stick, my hand barely fit inside the guard. As for the throttle, totally, totally stupid design in regards to the rudder controls. Impossible to use. It was more like using the "x" and "z" keys. Theres absolutely no room for four fingers.

So I combined the X45 with the 3D Gold and found it to be ok, The 3D Gold is great for anyone with bigger than average hands. The X45 sat behind the monitor, out of sight and where it belongs.

Now, I have a 3D Gold and and Evo. The 3D Gold is my parts department since I broke the "twisty" just a month after it was new. It seems I twisted it too far and the "z" axis doesn't work well anymore.

The Evo seems to be much better with acception to the lower buttons. You just can't reach bothsides. If you are right handed you can only reach the left buttons. The upper buttons above your hand are nice and fully adjustable. The only problem is I can see I will break the top off very quickly.

If you are satisfied with the 3D Gold I'm sure you'll like the Evo better. It works basically the same as the 3D Gold but has a few more options.

In the future I plan to make my own stick all with easily replacable parts, and it's something I won't break so easily. It will be made completely of metal and have guards that protect it from being broken due to a little force. Plastic sucks bigtime and breaks so easily. The manufacturers have to realize it's not just children flying.

I have a Logitech extreme 3D pro. Nice but the throttle is far too small and in a stupid place and I accidentaly fire the cannons all the time...lol
