I chose Ironsight as my default aim mode but the game forgets about this, and changes to 3rd person aim, cant change it back
pressing alt does NOT work -only thing which does is to close GRB and start it agaain which sucks
i alos loose the ability to use my drone ...

once i had this just after i was interrogatin an sergeant during the hunt for rosebud...
(so no firefigt just before that bug appearing - it happened after i ko ed that guy i was holding)

I noticed this issue after playing PVP. Seems to be connected to the Presets within Classes. I used Field Medic class during PVP, then noticed I had no drone in PVE. How I fixed it:
Go to bivouac.
Go to class used during PVP (in my case Field Medic)
Go to Edit Preset
Switch to, or make a 2nd Preset
Don’t forget to change back to proper gear level, since PVP automatically equips you with lower rated gear (btw, I think this is where the bug originates)
Exit bivouac
Drone should work
In my case, the default preset is the one I can no longer use the drone in. Very frustrating, since it is the only one that can’t be deleted. But, for this reason, always make sure you’re on the default preset before entering PVP. Presets 2 and 3 can be deleted, but I would hate to find out the hard way that they’d get bugged as well.
On a side note, PVP has a ways to go. Load screens are horrendous. It shouldn’t take more than 10-15 seconds to load between rounds. Right now it’s 45 seconds or longer. Players constantly leave causing you to rarely complete a match, and the game will throw you into the middle of someone else’s match. I say if they leave, too bad. Then it’s 4 on 3 or 4 on 2 till the bitter end. A lot of the fun is taken out when you’re bounced from one match to another waiting on loading screens because some respawn addict forfeits.
Also, the game automatically equips gear levels during PVP but doesn’t change back when entering PVE. I believe that’s where the majority of these issues stem from. While playing PVP, I was able to equip my higher level gear. I have no idea if it gave me any kind of advantage, but this is where my problems with the drone originated.

Still an issue and changing classes didn't work for me. Also when trying to use bionos as a replacement for the drone I lost all ability to do anything but run around. I had to go kill my self to reset everything and the drone still doesn't work. And yes, this all started after I started playing PvP.

Return to bivouac and equip items for preset 2 or 3

Let us know how it worked out for you. There are some people here saying when they switch classes their drone returns. This is because they didn’t use every class while playing PVP. Those that DID use several classes should try this method for every class used. And as I said earlier....when going to PVP, make sure you are on the default preset just in case. I have no idea if this bug is also affecting presets 2 and 3 so better safe than sorry.

This is very frustrating, I heard of this, but it didn't happen to me until today, I spent the last hour trying suggestions and do recall playing PvP last night, but I did PvP the night before and PvE was fine with drone after that. I currently do not have drone in PvE for all four classes, even when making a new profile for that class.
I do recall losing drone a week or so ago, but it went away after a re-start i thought...
Sorry I can't help isolate this further... But it would be nice to have resolved.

So, after messing around and still not being able to find a suggested solution that "works for me" on drone, I gave up and tried a few missions knowing my drone does NOT work (except for Medic drone ability) Then something different, I lost the ability to change my weapons aim down scope or use items, get killed, restart different mission and same thing, after using the item wheel or using item. Once after launching 2 intel nades then switching to sync drone, and another time switching to rocket launcher after changing it in my inventory.
Are we still in the beta stage?.
