    Panther just useless for PvP?

    I don't see the advantage to playing Panther in PvP. You run faster and that's about it. Your ultimate is useless, who cares about doing a long animation to unmark when you unmark auto anyway.

    I don't even know if the SMG/Handgun silencer bonus applies in PvP, because as a Panther everytime I try to equip the silencer the game warns me that silencers are less effective for PvP, and automatically unequips them at the start of every round.

    It's a class that seems geared towards solo singleplayer play with its passives only really effecting NPCs.

    The other 3 classes seem so much better in comparison. Sniper can one shot kill, Assault has extra health and a gas grenade, Medic can...well fly revive which is insane.

    Am I correct here or can someone highlight what Panther is good at? It feels like the classes in this game are sort of evened out, so everyone can do a bit of everything, meaning that some are just naturally weaker unless their abilities actually do something.

    The only way to put down smoke is using the panther ability, though the smoke doesn't really cover anything and doesn't help at all covering things up. If they improve the smokescreen it will be very usefull.

    The problems for Panther go well beyond that. I tried to point it out in my prior posts. This one is the one I made on the Release of the game

    Short version is that due to Snipers being a 1 hit 1 kill, it encourages camping like no tomorrow. A good camper can 1v4 because of it

    Panther's struggle to counter this because their bonus applies to a gun group that is "shorter range" than the AR's

    While the MP5 does have more range than some AR's, the bullet velocity is separate from the stats. It takes longer for an SMG bullet to reach the target, than an AR bullet. I tried to suggest that certain guns have unique ammo, and unique properties. To balance it out, those guns can only be refilled at Base or a Biovac. I originally suggested Base but, I was told it would be too much of a pain. I added the Biovac because of that. Perhaps for PVP it can be each round

    In Panther's case, I asked for the P90 and Five Seven to be 5.7mm ammo and for the bonus to be High Velocity + Bonus Damage to Armor. That is what it does in real life. As far as I know, the P90 is the longest range, currently serving Military SMG. Five Seven is the longest range for Military Pistols

    That would give them an option other than the Magpul PDR (which is the super compact 5.56 NATO rifle)
