Same issue with protein. Will occasionally drop from birds, but not animals. I am starting to suspect that this may be intentional as to not incentivise players to kill animals unnecessarily.
My biggest issue are the "sticky"/"janky"/"laggy" movement controls. I have fallen from many a cliff trying to base jump. Sometimes it works, but most times it doesn't. It is really hit and miss and there is no indication to the player.
Ladders. Screw them. I have found that double tapping spacebar does wonders to at least engage with a ladder as pressing it once clearly does nothing. Then the jamming of keys start to move the player up or down the ladder. I simply user ladders to go up, and will rather jump down and risk injury than suffer the frustration of interacting with them.
Breakpoint makes me think of Metal Gear V Phantom Pain for some reason in terms of vibe - if only the devs were able to implement the smooth and instant controls from that title, Breakpoint would play a LOT better. In Phantom Pain, when things got sticky, you didn't have to worry when things went bad, your avatar followed your instructions and things just happened as they should. In Breakpoint, when a good plan goes out the window and the weapons go loud, it can be a mashing of buttons to try and get grandpa to do basic things right. It sometimes feel like a am trying to control a drunken sailor early in the morning, while he is fiddling around with a loaded firearm.
I didn't want to like this game as it was not the Ghost Recon I wanted, but I have to admit that Breakpoint is a very good game with a lot of mechanics and features that is very addictive and enjoyable. It wouldn't have been easy to get all these things to work together, and it does it all fairly well. With some spit and polish this game will be even better and reach its full potential.
Same plus Jericho's mission "Rise Gear Level to 150 to participate in Raid" added same problem. I haven't completed it, but it was enough to pin it one time to get same problem.Originally Posted by kyrencross Go to original post
Dude, its Ubi, I wouldnt expect it to be fixed until after their next hot pile of garbage comes out. What really is infuriating is that they are copying their own game/other games (Division/Destiny) when it comes to loadout screens, but they still **** it up. (Anyone else sick of going having a whole extra menu to go through to scrap weapons instead of Destiny style where you can hover over your equipped weapon and could see other options to equip without an extra menu layer?) Only ubi could literally copy someone and still make it worse.
1. Meat drops were probably removed because they no longer serve any purpose I guess? I mean you could potentially use them for rations and stuff, but who really uses those? I've played 40 hours and only used rations once just to see what they do.Originally Posted by kyrencross Go to original post
2. Can confirm the tutorial mission bug. It's slightly annoying but there are far more critical issues to deal with first.
3. I've not had any stuttering issues in Breakpoint. I've had the FPS drop while driving in Wildlands, but I promptly fixed it by: A) Running the game of an SSD (the Anvil Engine cannot load assets fast enough while traveling quickly in cars when running off slow HDDs) and B) Make sure Shader cache is turned on in NVidia Control panel (dont know if AMD has equivalent setting)(the benefits of Shader Cache will become visible after a few game sessions, the cache needs to be built up first)
3. Guided mode only turns on by default in the Main Menu. As soon as you load a save, it will revert to whatever setting you have in that specific save. So you don't have to worry about it.
4. The silencer bug I've only had it in the beta, did not ever happen in the main release, at least for me.
5. Can confirm the scrolling bug in the sidemission tab.
6. Can confirm the inventory bugs you mentions as well.
7. Yes. The ladder animation is slow. NEVER try to climb a ladder during combat.
8. The climbing out of boats issue is not a bug, but an omission. It was never implemented.
9. Dont actually have any issues with cameras in vehicles. Works fine. Maybe check some of the settings? There are a LOT of options. I made sure to go through each of them and set everything the way I like. The only bug that I can confirm is that the sensitivity for the mouse in the helicopters is WAY too high even when set to 0.
10. DId not encounter the Sync Shot drone bug, But I never actually tried changing the inventory when using the drones. I always kill everything first. But will test it.
11. Did not encounter the Syringe bug either, but than again I never use it DURING a fight. If I am shot at, it makes no sense to stop and try to heal. Even if you do heal, you are still getting shot at and you are back in the same situation. I always try to get to cover first, and then maybe heal if necessary.
I rarely use fast travel and always run to my objective to gather ingredients, unlock the fog of war and Points of interests. I always use and run out of Fitness Ration and nee dall the animal protein I can get.Originally Posted by Nandiman Go to original post
The silencer bug happens randomly whenever I log back in the game. If I don't double check, the first shot of my stealth runs always goes with a loud Bang!
The Sync drone bug I can always recreate. To guarantee a crash, sync drone 3 targets when enemies are searching for you and quickly switch out your sync drone with another item.
The syringe bug happened to me while in cover, I got hit and injured, crouched down to hide and spammed the syringe button and just hangs there rarely happens to me now though.
I added more bugs in my list that you may also have encountered. really hope they fix most or all of this issues on the upcoming patch.
Is the patch live? because none of the issues here is resolved. I immediately tested the sync shot instant crash bug and can recreate it everytime.
Also animal still don't drop meat. Most of the fixes are mainly focused on PVP and no game breaking bug fixes for the main campaign.
You still can't even scroll in the Auroa Archipelago missions. Not even a sell multiple items was introduced. It will take them another two weeks for crucial and quality of life updates?
Yeah, I gave this game a chance but am starting to loose interest in this game.
Fantastic summing up of the issues.
I have encountered almost all of those you have listed.
I have reported the minimap resources bug to Ubi as well as the inability to listen to evidence / USB recordings - I can't listen to any at all.
Another bug is flying a plane / helicopter in co-op and the driver sitting completely outside of the vehicle (~ 4m in front of plane for instance).
