Hopefully they release a hotfix before the next big patch to get some of these things sorted. 2 weeks for a patch to fix small problems is a long time.

As far as it concerns proteins , its true for me also , 4legged animals dont drop , boars,pigs,dears etc... no drops at all, Birds on the other hand DO drop .

Same with everything for me and the added extra of random screen freeze which requires the game to be restarted. Frustrating to say the least

I am starting to think that this is somewhat intentional. Same with the lack of standard weapon drops so it would be so rare to get the Standard Weapon part to upgrade your weapon past MK1.

Once you depleted your resource of protein and Standard Weapon Parts then the only option to get them easily is to buy the Crafting Materials Bundle and the MK1 upgrades from their Time Savers shop with real money. I mean why would they even sell MK1 upgrades in the first place, because they probably/somehow knew that Standard WEapon Parts would be super rare in end game that you will have to buy them packs just to get past MK1.

They can easily and quickly patch this out but they chose not to so impatient people would be forced to buy those packs. I assure you though if people found an exploit that would get them tons of xp, skells, materials or parts, then it will be quickly patched in like hours. But now, they chose not to as if this is really a bug and not intended, then it would benefit them greatly.

+1 for Protein, Mission Complete on log in EVERY TIME, and Ladders

The ladders are my all time most annoying bug so far as it really hinders progress.
On a side note, my friend I play co op with randomly had over 8000 animal proteins in his inventory while I pick up none!
