Hey there, everyone and thank you for updating this thread!

If you are still having this issue, we do have a workaround that you can try as shown in the quoted section below!

Please know that you can also try basic PC troubleshooting steps to try and resolve this issue at this time.

Please try removing your driver version and completing a clean install of it by downloading the driver from the official AMD website:

    https://www.amd.com/en/support/graph...eon-rx-5700-xt

As a possible workaround, you can also try to install a previous driver for testing purposes:

    https://www.amd.com/en/support/previ...eon-rx-5700-xt
As always, support is here for you if you need further assistance! Please create a support ticket here for a one on one live chat or email! You can also contact us on our Ubisoft Support Facebook or Ubisoft Support Twitter!

    hey,
i went ahead in BIOS and disabled 'cool n quiet', then booted in Windows and started the game. Sadly it still crashes to desktop on my Sapphire RX5700.
    - Submitted the crash report
    - in Windows i use @high performance

L.E> https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...-Updated-Oct-2 seems is still 'under investigation'

Hey, found a possible workaround for Elysium on Steam Forums:
    1. Basically you download a bunch of library DLL files from here https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases
    2. Then you extract the downloaded archive
    3. You then copy the contets of x64 folder of that unpacked archive and paste in game dir: C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Assassin's Creed Odyssey
    4. Run the game and check whether Elysium works for you. For me, on my RX 5700 Sapphire flashed to RX 5700 XT did.

Notice: At times you'll notice some stutters, but rather then not playing at all it is a manageable tradeoff

Sadly it doesn't work for everyone (and performance is rubbish on certain systems), as was discussed in a lively thread on Steam.
    But thanks anyway.
