    A Clueless Numbskull's First Thoughts

I bought GRB because I have always wanted to play a mil sim, or something even resembling a mil sim, but was too chicken. So, I bought gold edition, by accident. It's a good thing I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, I'd cut myself. It took me 6 months to get through the tutorial in ARMA III, or was it II. Anyway, I thought about GRW earlier in the decade, but here I am in GRB.

A few things strike me as a clueless wonder nut of things military, ballistic and tactical when I played my first day. First, and the most prevalent, I kept, by lifelong habit I suppose, turning the mouse-wheel to back off the view. Weird. Second, I honestly didn't expect to just be in the vicinity of a corpse to be able to take loot. Wouldn't rummaging through pockets take a few seconds? Third, I didn't play idiot, err I mean arcade level, but the one next up, and was again surprised I could practically tap someone on the shoulder before they notice me.

Hey, no bugs in a few hours of play, not that I'd recognize one, and no crashes, which was nice. All in all pretty decent for a beginning experience. But I will have to raise up another difficulty level.

    Cheerio ghosts, onward!

PS What's recoil? I keep looking for it, but never find it.

lol This isn't close to a mil-sim. You have to go back to the older ghost recon games for that. Most of the anger is coming from the mil-sim community.

Its an alright game if you are looking for a Division-style looter shooter.

What you mean keep looking for recoil? It's the movement of the weapon if you shoot and makes it harder to control the aiming. Have fun...
