animals not dropping protein | Forums

i am unable to craft many rations because all animals have stopped dropping protein on kill. the only way to get proteins for crafting is to collect shellfish or sea cucumbers which are both few and far between.

Animals drop protein for me in the swamp area but nowhere else. Very odd....

Did this start occurring after you reach a specific point or place? x1 SpOoNmAn 1x mentioned it still dropping in one area, is that the same for the rest of you?

If possible would you be able to provide us with a video of that occurring? Killing an animal, and it not dropping the item?

Nope, realised with the animal in front of Eorwhen who used to drop tons of protein. It simply died without leaving anything to collect.
After talking on walkie-talkie (3rd helicopter) I went up the hill and raided all the stuff to get some early boxes.
Apart from that - nothing special.

I went back to the fen bog are and animals Stopped dropping protein. I should have stayed there last night and stocked up.

For me, they have not dropped proteins at all in the live game. The only reason I noticed was that they did in both the closed and open betas. (On PC)
