First of all I enjoyed the beta and the new changes to the game compared to its predecessor. I have a few suggestions to make the game more immersive. The main suggestion I have is an actual survival mode, similar to what was in the first Division game. I wouldn't want it to be a mini-game mode, rather a more realistic way to play the entire game. Besides greater immersion, the other reason I want to see this is because it gives me more incentive to use the new mechanics(i.e. crafting, eating, drinking, etc). I understand the incentive to use these new mechanics is to gain temporary boosts and to enhance the gameplay experience. That's not enough for me though. If I can wait a few seconds for my health or stamina to regen then I am not going to bother with gathering water, or crafting rations to consume. I just view those things as options if I wish to use them, but if I had to use them then I would want it to because I'm playing a Hardcore Ghost mode. A Ghost mode that not only had perma-death but, also required me to hydrate at regular intervals, eat to maintain strength, craft things because since you are stranded without support all you can rely on is your survival training and what you can get from fallen enemies and from performing raids on bases for weapons, ammo, med kits(make the med kits scarce so I have to craft most medical items). You would be required to go to a camp if for nothing else then to sleep to avoid exhaustion, plus for crafting as well. You could call it Ghost SERE mode, or just SERE mode. I think people from the hardcore community would appreciate it, and a game with RPG elements is perfect for encouraging players to constantly loot for better equipment and resources. This mode would just give the ultimate challenge and utilize these new mechanics to their fullest potential.
My other thought is about the addition of a rifle sling as an weapon mod. What initially got me thinking about it was being frustrated from dying because I couldn't switch to my pistol or secondary weapon because of the animation of my character reaching to his side to put away his weapon and then having to reach to his other side for a weapon or to draw his pistol. Now you could just speed up the animation or make a perk that increases swap speed but that wouldn't enhance immersion. A weapon sling would allow someone to let their weapon fall to their side or across their chest when they run out of ammo and want to swap to another weapon or even if its not because of an inconvenient reload, and they just want to quickly transition to another weapon. This would make it more realistic and improve gameplay.

I hope you take these suggestions into serious consideration because I think they would both be great additions to the game
