After playing the technical test, closed beta and now the open beta, I say that I am very excited for breakpoint. But an issue I have is with the immersion. I played wildlands for more hours then I can count, it was such a great immersive experience that I had trouble finding in any other shooter games. I don’t mind the loot system in this game, I think it’s a great hybrid of wildlands and the division, even some assassins creed odyssey in there. But there is no incentive for me to run through the game in extreme difficulty because it’ll take much longer to complete missions or regions, but will give the same loot as it would in arcade mode. I think you should add a separate mode, just like ghost mode, that rewards better loot for playing on a hardcore difficulty. A difficulty that will rid of fast travel, injuries happen much more often, limited bandages and syringes no longer heal injuries. I understand that changing weapons on the fly is a necessity in looter type games but I think it can be easy to overcome in this game, more prep work before a mission would be amazing. The buffs from eating or stretching should be the difference between an impossible mission or very hard mission. I loved the lost ammo in ghost mode when you change mags with ammo still in then, and how you can only carry one primary. The biggest thing for me would be making the wolves way harder. They are just to easy, and not even that “scarier”. The wolves are supposed to be highly skilled elite soldiers, I want to scramble to hid when I see them, and engage only when necessary. These are just a few ideas off the top of my head. Other then all that, I really loved the beta and I’m very excited to play it with my buddy, ghost war was very fun for me to play. Thank you for everything you are doing Ubisoft, there’s a lot of hate out there but there are fans who support you and think you’re doing a wonderful job. Have a wonderful day.
