Man, every third Post in this Forum ist about that. I have really low hopes for the game and I'm pretty sure they will push it to the market like that.

But it definetly destroys the atmosphere of feeling "behind enemy lines" that they promised in the marketing.

The looting system is a failure for sure. I have played the open beta for hours, and there was no weapon that could stay in my weapon slot for more than 10 minutes. The looting system forces players to care more about gear level rahter than focus on the weapon itself.

Yeah they will for sure not change the loot system if its in the beta. Its less Wildlands and more Division. Hate the bonuses applied to clothing and weapons. The weapons are basically the same in terms of stats from Wildlands so there is no incentive to try new options.

They did some things to increase the realism which I like: the different calibers depending on the gun is a nice touch. They should have taken it a step farther and made certain calibers rarer. For example, 9mm, .45acp, .223/.556 and .308 should be everywhere. This would lead players to favor firearms in those calibers in a "behind the lines" scenario like this is supposed to be because you'll be able to restock easier. This would lead players to disfavor something like the MP-7 because its 4.6x30mm caliber is rare. So the advantages of that gun over say an MP-5 would be negated to some extent.

The gun stats seem random: certain .308 rifles seem to hit harder than others, which makes no sense. Muzzle velocity is muzzle velocity.
