I played all the betas and found that the weapons & gear level system is useless. Once I found my weapon of choice (M4A1) and added my attachments, I was good to go. Not once when I played did I ever say "I really need to level up my weapon in order to X, Y, or Z." Not once when I encountered an enemy or drone, did I feel the importance of leveling up or experience a consequence for not leveling up. the level up system doesn't seems to play a purpose to the in game experience. You get a weapon, you use it, break down the other, get another, use that, breakdown the other, get a new one, breakdown the other...all for the same result had I not changed anything. I can do the same thing with a M4A1 level 1 that I can do with a M4A1 level 30...there's no benefit.

Which isn't tough. Just like killing all the, what were they rank 60 wolves, during the beginning story mission, all went down pretty easily with my starter character...Originally Posted by ValeratalTal Go to original post

A bullet is a bullet and there is no such thing as level, thank god they nerfed it.
They just didn't removed it completely because they would have to re-write the core engine factors of the game, it's impossible at this point.
