Here's a comprehensive list of things I'd like to see addressed for launch:
Weapon Gunk/Grime: This needs to be adjusted due to general inconsistencies and unrealistic results. For example, when my character kneels, his weapons get dirty. Not only is it inconsistent because the rest of my character is clean, but it's unrealistic because my character's weapon never makes contact with the ground. Whatever state your character is in should be equivalent with the weapon.
Weapon Customization: This has been heavily addressed, but I feel compelled to do my part. It's limited in both customization options and scope. I don't mind the weapon variants, but I think that items like optics should be almost universally applied to weapons like they were in WIldlands. Ubisoft's own words were something to the effect of "make it realistic" yet I can't attach an ACOG to an M4, the weapon and optic I carried in Iraq. I'll leave it at that.
Uniform Camouflage: All military camos should be unlocked by default. It's really frustrating and unnecessary to hide them behind unlockable content. You had everything by default in Wildlands and it had no effect on gameplay. If anything, it allowed me to customize my operator with a lot more fulfillment.
Holster Color: The color of your holster should be determined by the color of your plate carrier/chest rig. In some cases, it just doesn't look right.
Headgear in Cutscenes: Allow it. What's the point of investing the time and effort in getting sick headgear if it's absent in cinematic visuals? That is all.
UI: The objective tracker part of the menu is really clunky and frustrating. Finding a clue, only to have to go back into a menu to check the same flashing objective marker is frustrating and unnecessary. Additionally, please get rid of the weird, flashing Invite/Join Player icon in Erewhon.
Pistol Sprinting: The pistol sprinting animation is horrendous. It looks really unnatural. You guys did great with sprinting with a rifle, but pistol needs work too.
Character Walk: The male Nomad walks very strange in Erewhon. It's almost like a female Nomad strut. His shoulders go too far inward and the character looks off.
One Primary Weapon: PLEASE make an option where you can make the secondary weapon disappear. If you're trying to figure out how it'll work with the overall gear score, just leave that part in the loadout screen. Just please give me the option to visually remove the secondary weapon. If you guys can manage to make headgear disappear in cutscenes, there's gotta be a way to do it with the secondary weapon during standard gameplay.
