    Loadout presets and weapon list

Enjoyed the beta despite a few bugs. I've seen that you've improved some things since closed beta and I'm sure you'll continue to do so. Making games is more complicated than most can appreciate; you'll never please everybody; and there are a lot of drama queens out there, so thanks for all your hard work on a great game and for dealing with all of us!

A couple things I think would improve the game regarding the weapon loadout screen:

In general, if this is going to be a looter shooter with so many new drops and pickups, make it easy to organize, sort, and handle all the loot. I want to run around shooting people with my new gun, not stuck in menus trying to make sense out of my large messy pile.

    1. Let us sort the list by weapon type.

I go to this screen to grab a specific weapon for a specific situation. For example: I'm searching for a shotgun, but they're broken up amidst a long list of everything else I've collected. It would be nice if weapon types were grouped together, or even better if I could say to just show me shotguns. I've often not wanted the weapon with the highest grade because I like other aspects of a lower tier weapon more, so ordering automatically by the weapon score or tier or whatever it's properly called isn't my preferred criteria.

It would also be nice for the same model to be grouped together so I can easily see what I have duplicates of so I can break them down more quickly without having to search and scroll through a long list where there may or may not be a duplicate at all. That would be a huge saver of time and frustration and help keep my stock of weapons down.

    2. Keep the weapon stat overlay window, when highlighting a weapon, from covering the list.
It's hard to see how far you've scrolled when the overlay screen is covering the list half the time. It also bounces around a lot, so it would be nice to have a static place that isn't over the list to show the stats. Combined with the above problem of weapons not being ordered together, this just makes weapon management take a lot longer and is very frustrating.

    3. For the weapon loadout presets, make it just for the weapons, and assume I want the same clothes I currently have equipped.
I want the presets so I can easily switch between close range/indoor combat to outdoor/sniper combat etc. I've never wanted to switch to older, lower tiered clothes. I know you can make a new preset that includes your current clothes, but it would be faster to just pick the weapons for each preset. I change clothes far more often than I update my weapon, so having to switch the weapons around to make each preset again when I find a new hat takes too long, especially with the current list format.

    4. Let us mark favorites.
It would make switching things around easier and faster.

Thank you very much for your time! I'm sure you've got more than plenty to do, so it is very appreciated! Cheers!

Very good points! I'm especcially concerned with the 1st point and just amde a new thread about it without seeing that it was already brought up. I'm gonna link to your post as it is far better written.

I was suggesting that they add tabs to select the different weapon types when choosing your primary or secondary weapon.
