Hey there,
Here are the things I saw during the open Beta:
Bugs:
- When dismantling items and pressing space to close the "results" popup you often automatically close the window and equip an item. The closing is annoying in itself, but also occasionally resulted in me equipping low score gear while accidentally dismantling the one I needed. I suspect this is caused by the mouse pointer being over an item when the popup closes. Does not happen when you close the popup with the mouse.
- Equipping a face paint cosmetic disables your equipped hat and glasses.(Or at least certain paints do)
- Floating rock asset on the cliffside looking over Skells(?) house. After the part where you talk to his maid I went to the house straight and camped on the cliffside between the house and where the civilians were. Sorry, failed to take screenshots.
Other feedback:
- Would really love mass dismantle, mass sell etc. options or at least drop the hold functionality. Trying to sell/destroy 30 items where you have to hold the button for 3 seconds is a massive pain.
- When switching between different classes you are forced to have a preset which makes the used gears unsellable, undestroyable. This means players have two options when dismantling old gear: Either be forced to keep those items in your inventory or be forced to constantly update all presets for all classes. Please no.
- Audio feels a bit underwhelming for vehicles except cars.
- Menus are generally a pain to use and feel confusing. Especially the objectives menu, which keeps showing there is new info and you need to go 2 or 3 submenus deep and click things one by one to get rid of notifications or finish investigations etc.
- Sights don't give you info about their zoom level, you need to switch between gunsmith and gameplay to see for yourself.(Ha-ha)
- POI markers seem to be the same while in the game regardless of their distance. Ideally I would prefer further away ones to be faded or be smaller. It is a small thing, you can still aim at them to get their distance or look at the map, but still.
- It feels like enemies won't notice your chopper until you literally fly it into their face.
- The tutorial felt slightly annoying as I already did most of the things by the time I got to the cave, yet I had to do them just for the sake of advancing those missions.
Otherwise I did enjoy the game, but I can see how sniping enemies from 300 meters with them only occasionally finding me might become boring. With the level cap I can't really decide if content will be more interesting later on.
I prefer a more rpg-like gameplay, like Division.![]()
