Good morning Ubisoft!

First off, echoing just about everyone else on these threads, I want to thank you guys so much for creating yet another great game and story to invest countless hours in. With about 3 hours under my belt (yes, very much a rookie still), I am blown away by the detail and depth that you have put into Auroa.

It is my intention that this thread will grow and evolve over the weekend as we clock in more hours and take more notes.

With this introductory post, I'd like to bring a couple things to your attention that I noticed during my first couple of hours in-game:
1) In the first hour or so (dispatching the first couple groups of enemies up until reaching Erewhon), there are several typos in the subtitles ranging from simple misspellings of words to what's either dyslexia or over-caffeinated typing ("great" is "graet" for example).
  • My suggestion would be to go back and proofread each line of dialogue, making sure there are no glaring issues that would make the experience less enjoyable for someone that is hearing impaired and relies on the subs for immersion (I'm not, I'm just that annoying person that likes subs all the time).

2) Piggybacking off of the typos: when you first arrive at Erewhon and speak with Maria for the "tour", she mentions that Rowan is a former Kiwi SAS operator and the subs match what's spoken by the voice actor.. I'm guessing that it was maybe your intention at first but neither Russell Crowe or Karl Urban were available? I was like "wow, that's awesome, Ubisoft is going the non-basic route and introducing a SAS operative that ISN'T from the UK. (RIP Ghost/Soap)". Once you meet Rowan, he introduces himself *with a slight southern drawl* as former 10th Mountain (which is also cool, considering the boys at Ft. Drum are rarely given the credit they deserve). Either way, it was quite confusing to me and I'm hoping that for the sake of immersion, the dialogue is sorted out and we get a consistent story with Rowan.

3) Whenever you pick up a body and then drop it, the left arm glitches into your body until you draw your weapon and ADS. Looks funky and needs to be fixed.

4) I am frustrated by the automatic 3rd person "shoulder switch" which is manually performed with the right bumper (on PS4). It took me a minute to realize that it was automatically switching and I would ADS on the wrong side, opening me up to incoming rounds because I was thinking that I was approaching cover from the opposite shoulder. This could honestly just be a matter of preference for me... some might like the automatic switching. If that's the case, perhaps y'all could provide an option to switch it on and off?

Once I get off of work, I'm going to log in as many hours as possible this weekend and update this thread again with more notes.

Again, I am so thankful for the work that y'all have put in and for allowing us early access to the game. Hope you guys have a great Friday.
