I've played all of the betas and one thing is consistent. Of all the redundant additions, specializations seem the most useless. I've not felt the need to pick a specialization and have yet to use a skill point.

There are a few useful things tied to the skill trees like the parachute, nvg, and thermal but from reading the forums they don't work properly. I'm currently a skill level 6 with level 24 gear score and actually did all of that before ever going to the social hub. The only reason I went to the hub was to get the drone.

I'm trying to like something about this game but I'm finding it really hard.
