Hello devs, i dont know if this was posted before so apologies in advance, if don't here is my problem:
While i play the game, on the mayority of the islands that i own/conquer/etc, there are multiple shore sections, "shore tiles", that are "mixed" with "land tiles" and that prevents me from building coastal buildings, best way to show the problem is with an image:
As you can see, there are little "land" tiles here and there that obstruct "coastal" buildings such as quay, fisheries, commuter piers, etc... mostly the smaller ones, shipyard or trading post seem to reach past these tiles so they just ignore the problem. This "bug" happens in every session, be it old world or new world, it doesn't matter if i start a new game, there seems to be some particular islands that have this problem specially the ones of the new world.

Hello. You are not alone with this problem. I have reported this 3 months ago. These bugs started with game updates 3,3.1, and 3.2. And the bugs have stayed since then.
I have filed a very big report on this back then. You can go have a look at it here with this link.
https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...edback-Videos)
I did get a Ubisoft response that they would look into this. They did mention something in a patch after this about getting this fixed. However I have continued to have the same bugs to this very day. I gave up at that point, because I lost faith in Ubisoft. I reported this issues a long while back and they still remain today. Very disappointing.
All the bugs in my report I still have today. For the Imperial Flagship I still have those debris around the ship showing when the ship is sailing only. And go away after the ship stops sailing when it arrives to it's destination. For the construction audio bug that effects blueprints. I still have that but ignore it. For the bugged harbor tiles like how you have it. I still have that too in all my harbors that I showed in my videos. For the NPC soundtrack bug. In Sunken Treasures session Cape Trawlny I think it is called. The NPC audio bug is fixed there. Old Nate's music works every time I move my camera to his island. But back in the Old World and the New World. When I move my camera to the NPCs and pirates in those 2 sessions. The soundtracks do not trigger still. But there is some progress. Sometimes the tracks will try to trigger. Sometimes they do trigger. But very very rarely. So there still is the problem with NPC soundtracks not working correctly. And again these issues where mentioned in patches that it has been fixed. But clearly it is not. Unless the fixes do not apply retroactively. If they do apply well then it still is not fixed. Pretty much every bug on my list still is in effect today. I still have these bugs. But I give up trying to report to Ubisoft, because they don't seem to be making much of an effort to try fix this. Or they are not aware of this. Or they simply don't care. Either way I hope they notice this and try to fix it again.
But yes. I have those bugs still today. Including what you have going on too.
Another very funny thing. How I know the bugs on my list are still not fixed? Before you did your post here too? Because when I watch the Dev streams on the Ubisoft twitch channel. I see the same bugs I have in the game when the developers are playing the game. I am surprised that the Ubisoft Developers do not notice this. Because I have seen in their videos that for the flagship for example. The floating broken wood planks debris that show up around the ship when it is sailing. I saw those too in a couple of videos on the Ubisoft twitch channel. I also heard the same construction sound bug that effects the blueprint buildings when you upgrade them to real building. And I still have that bug today. And I still heard this bug too in the recent dev streams too. So I know that this bug has gone unfixed still. Which disappoints me. I try so hard to report this so that it can be solved, and nothing is done by Ubisoft. Shame.
Ubisoft has claimed to have fixed some of these bugs in some patch notes. But their fixes have not worked. And broke other things in the game instead. I noticed with each game update when they try to fix some things. The fix either works but creates new bugs. Or the fix does not work and breaks the game even more. Recently the Botanica update has completely broken the game. And when I look at the forums here I can just see report after report after report. I haven't been able to play ANNO 1800 the last 2 weeks because the game is so broken that you cannot play anymore. Even the trade routes don't work anymore as players report. Same with oil routes. Same with everything else they report. Even influence too. Everything keeps breaking and breaking. And the bugs I reported 3 months ago are still in the game today too. I am very disappointed in Ubisoft and do not count on them to fix this. I have lost faith in Ubisoft.
Thank you for reporting this. I have tried already but they didn't really do anything to solve this. If you have any of the other bugs I have mentioned in my report that I linked. Let me know. The Flagship bug can be hard to spot and notice. Make sure to really look hard if you are going to investigate this too. I can easily spot it because I pay attention to all the fine details in the game. As for the construction sound audio bug. I know this is in the game for most players. I am sure you have this too for sure. Because I hear it everywhere. I know I am not the only player with this bug. And I tried very hard to report this, but still no progress made to fix by Ubisoft.
Thank you again for reporting this here. I am happy to see I am not the only player with these problems. And I'm glad to see that other players are making a bigger effort to report to Ubisoft. I really hope Ubisoft finally notices and does this right finally. These bugs are getting out of control.
Best,
Feruda
Hey folks,
This has been reported to the dev team but they are having trouble reproducing this issue.
Can you both create a support ticket on our website and include your Anno 1800 save file, to better assist their investigation?
Sure I can try that. I will have to attempt to send my save files through customer support. I will go and start a live chat with my ticket that I sent. And attempt to pass on the file requested.
Just a important note: Riverllon and Rivervale have progressed a lot since the time of these videos shot. However the bugs I have are still there. I have those 2 tiles on Riverllon in the main harbor that are bugged. And that one beach on Rivervale where it is really bad too.
However I no longer have the liners RNS Early Bird and RNS Regent.
My Flagship I believe is in the New World. Where I been planning the next phases there on those islands. I have not touched ANNO or Uplay since 2 weeks ago since after seeing reports in the forums (and being alarmed by the news I am hearing) that the latest patches have broken the game even further. I didn't want to have any of that. So I am waiting for the patch in mid October. That is said to fix it all. But I still have my save files intact. And I can send them off.
I will send off the most recent file. The bugs I have listed are still there. Especially with the shore tiles and NPC soundtrack bugs. For the flagship you will have to look around the ship as it is sailing and look hard to notice the debris around the ship. It is more noticeable in the Old World because the water is darker there while in the New World the water is lighter in color so it is harder to spot the debris around the ship. I notice it because I have really good eyes for fine details. I wish I had a better way of showing this. It would be better to show in person obviously. But I am not in Europe. So I can't do that.
I will go now and try get that save file delivered. Expect it soon as I will start a live chat and have the representative send it right away. So that the team can investigate.
Best,
Feruda
No problem! I hope it helps them investigate. If they need anything else, don't hesitate to ask. I will do my best to provide anything further that maybe needed. If it comes to that.
Great! Glad they will look into it. Curious to know what their findings will be. ^.^
I'll be here if you need me or have anything to report/update us with.
Best,
Feruda
