I would love to have the original controls back. So many people complained, but if you just bothered to learn how to use it it was far superior. I even made a couple tutorial videos.

Speaking of videos I made, this one makes me miss Wildlands. It was a better game than Breakpoint, which is kind of sad.

Yes please.
Changing the look setting for the Y axis resulting in also inverting forwards and backwards controls results in the worst helo controls for any game I’ve ever played.
Then when I hop in my drone the forwards backwards flight controls are totally opposite from the forwards backwards controls on the helo. As you can imagine the lack of uniformity causes all sorts of missteps when going from helicopters to drones. It’s unnecessarily confusing and rage enduring.
Which brings up another point. Why in the mother living hell is there not a setting to invert Y axis “look” for drones on Xbox One? The setting is there in Wildlands!!!
As with so many other aspects of the game the Wildlands team nailed it. Why must Breakpoint Devs go out of their way to break things?
Customizing the controls won't help. It's not about which buttons you press, it's a totally different flight mechanic.Originally Posted by ABH2awTaylor Go to original post
This just shows you don't/didn't know how to use the classic controls properly.Originally Posted by the-death6 Go to original post
This! I’ve never played a game where inverting the Y axis for look also effects forwards and backwards for flight controls! This is the dumbest most unintuitive flight model I’ve experienced in years.Originally Posted by robster4000 Go to original post
Also WTF is the issue with not giving players the option to invert Y look axis for drones? I mean it’s there for Wildlands! There is no option on Xbox One to invert Y axis look for drones.
The Breakpoint team went out of their way to break many solid game mechanics from Wildlands. Did the Devs even play Wildlands?
Don't get to close to the murmurs, take a certain distance otherwise the missiles will not lock on or switch target. With a bit of practise you'll get the right distance. Otherwise, I'm sincerely happy for you mateOriginally Posted by FalkonFreja Go to original post
