To whom this may concern at UBISOFT,

I have been an avid player of anything Ubisoft since the SPLINTERCELL DAYS ( which I hope you bring back in full stealth comparable to chaos theory) but I digress.

My over all impression is as follows, I love the graphics .. look amazing and everything for the most part blends very well, and the weapon mechanics and character movement is very nice as well.

That’s about all I have for PROS, my list of cons are as follows.

I believe you tried following the trends of the market to much when making this game. You took away much of what made wildlands so great. I’ll admit I’m more of a PvP player so this my primary side of comparison. Wildlands was simple .... choose a class who is given X equipment, ability to customize appearance to play style and class set to play style and let the best of players win or lose.

I feel you tried to take aspects from to many games ( rainbow 6 , PUBG , wildlands, and even COD) and smashed them together in hopes of a “great game” the fact of the matter it’s to much. The select-ability of equipment is similar to splintercell but lacks smoothness, the gear installment from finding in PVE and looting, the interface of menus and class trees. It’s all just copy and paste. I loves wildlands for what it is and was. A game different from the traditional, may you contest with other in skill.. not found equipment and gear. I think and truly believe the foundation of a great game is not over engineering it and sadly that’s what you have done. I will again refer to splinter cell ... simple .. spy vs Merc , same equipment same playing ground. Only difference is PLAYER SKILL AND ABILIY. To use what’s given and apply it. I had high hopes for break point, maybe increased stealth dynamics, improved scenery And surroundings basically take wildlands and update it ... more real... more engaging .. either if you’re an assault class or low crawling with a home made grass suit on, your heart should be pounding. This game just doesn’t do it for me, to many followed trends blended together and no longer something original.

I love the effort and I really love Ubisoft .. but please let’s stop being sheep and be the wolf. Reimagine and reinvent.

Side note, since you hinted Sam Fischer ... i expect the single best splinter cell stealth experience to be released, that is your flagship. Time to stop the run and gun epidemic, there’s nothing more heart racing and enjoyable then breaking necks from pipes , sneaking in the shadows and the anticipation of someone .. spy or mercenary .. being right behind you.
