LOL, and here i thought the night vision was better then in GRW ohwell i begin to see the giant problems devs have when making a game! people are never going to agree to one and other, must be hell to pick what to change and what not.

concurring GRW NV > GRB NV

Maybe they thought GRW's NV made things too easy because it certainly was far more effective in low-light situations than current open beta GRB's.

I walked into an unlit room at night and saw nothing but highlighted objects near to me - dark areas 3+ feet away were still dark. #useless

Otherwise, I would like, gère starts the wishing list, ngv's that I could wear without an helmet. I think this could be interesting from a cosmetic point of view
Dusk and dawn it gets darker(as well using them during the day). I believe they are trying to simulate autogating on modern NODs. Personally I think it is great.

I have absolutely zero experience with RL night vision. But I think the GRB night vision looks awesome. Playing on Xbox One X.

It’s pretty much as Bone Frog said, NV works best when it’s fully night/in a dark place (12am seems to be brighter than 3am for example) only time I use NV during the day is when driving through lots of trees (easier to avoid things when they’re black or white rather than blending in)

Thank you Bone_Frog, but my NV doesn't look anything like that, unfortunately, I don't have a video to share. I have been wondering if Indeed they were going for that "autogating" as you say. It maybe a bug concerning PS4 users... Don't know

Well that helps localize the problem then. It may very well be a bug on console that they need to look into. It is helpful if they understand that not all performance is the same across all platforms.

Totally agree because on PC it looks and feels great. Really like how NVG works on PC - not just some light-green filter, but something more interesting.

Night vision in my opinion is better than closed beta version. Closed beta version was useless, i ended up just turning brightness upon tv, and used no night vision. Closed beta wersion was all wishy washy. Open beta version is better, but yes I agree could do with a tweak.

Unfortunately I am on PC as well and what I've seen with NVG was nothing like what Bone_Frog posted, I tried to use it underground and everything was even darker than without it. Perhaps some bug with settings taken over from OTT or Closed beta? Above ground it was better, but still not usable.
