Why is he so fast...? Really? 180 hp, heaviest looking armor in the game... 400 ms top light. Shinobi has been training all his life for endurance and speed, has the lightest armor in the game with the lowest hp, wields a friggin garden sickle... 500 ms light
Why is it everytime that we get a rework that lights are being sped up... and they are sped up a lot. Lawbringer sucks? Well let's just give him fast lights, highest hp in the game and highest parry punishes. Could they not have come up with an interesting way to use his pancake flip or his choo choo train stab?
I literally cannot beat Lawbringer with the characters I play. Centurion sucks against him, Gladiator gets clapped by fast lights and eats a lot of damage, Shinobi gets deleted from a parry and doesn't have offensive
He is so annoying, jesus
A light that isn't considered an opener in his moveset and people say it's spammable
geez it's not like lawbringer hasn't had anymore trouble he might as well just ad mortem into the next life
and let people scrap him for parts it's not like he's following the offensive meta that we are
turning towards because the "devs" said we were going that route and
yet he get his numbers tweaked still has to turtle for offense
and yet a few complain about his top light and how much health he has but compared to raider
and other heroes above him he ain't worth two cents yet
no one is screaming to high heavan for the devs to give lawdaddy a true rework
Totally, a lawbringer who just walks at me and lights at complete random so i get hit everytime i even think about doing anything other than blocking top is totally okay. I should not be allowed to press buttons unless Mister law decides its okay and lets me.
Also his heavy parry is BY FAR the best in the game. Even if you ignore the fact that it ledges and sets up your team. It is absolutely stupid.
Honestly I would say current centurion has a better heavy parry. With haymaker he gets a 10 dmg knee into a wall into a (not quite sure how much dmg the charged jab is probs 25 or somthing) into the jab into another 10 dmg punch into a 35 dmg (i think) cutscene for your teammates. LB gets 15 dmg into a wall 35 dmg heavy and 1 teammate gets to hit him.
Why is everyone so fixed on the Centurion - Haymaker thing? He gets that punish NOW only in 4v4. And after the rework he won't get that punish anymore. Off a heavy parry he will get 27 without a wall, and the cutscene will get deleted so he will get as much as a Raider WITH HAYMAKER + A WALL. Plus, Lawbringer is probably the most annoying turtle to fight. Literally just spams lights, waits for a parry to take half your health and while he's at it, he is also blinding you so his next light will be a guess block
Either give him slower lights and give him an actual kit that isn't based off parrying, or just nerf his current state so not everyone is playing him. It sounds stupid but I am literally sick of not throwing an attack
By no means am I 'fixed' on centurions punishes or feats I just simply wanted to share my opinion about the subject. Previous LB main here, I get the frustration with facing him but he is severely limited if you are just patient against him, get a read on what direction they light after the heavy feint and parry it. Once you have that down, LB becomes literally useless. Patience is key = never attack and block top against an opponent with 150 hp - I think we are past the point of realizing why this is not fun to play.
And just @ using top light as "chain starter" or "opener" (which is unrelated to the post above). That is not how the move is used. Its used as an interrupt if you see your opponent do anything. You dont combo out of it. You just boop them and take the free 15 damage then go back to laughing manically.
