    1 Vs X UI

So I imagine we all have experienced what im about to say, you're holding your own well in a 1 v X scenario, the one you are not locked on is roughly behind you and starting a slow swing unblockable, you watch for the parry while keeping your attention on whatever your target is throwing at you, the timing hits, you heavy for the parry and *poof* in their animation they moved slightly to the left/right and the attack direction swapped.

This is basically impossible to handle unless they move across early enough for you to react, and the kind of damage a move like that does is an extremely large chunk for what is essentially a soft feint unblockable. (this can happen with regular heavies too but the unblockables REALLY can't be reacted to in time)

My solution to this would be any attack (from anyone other than your target) that is not coming out of a soft feint should be locked onto the side the move was started at, this means if you want to be smart with a feint like on JJs dodge strike then you can still pull off something fancy using that mechanic, but it will prevent dying to something that just feels outright unfair in a situation that was already stacked against you anyway.

Any other thoughts on how this could be fixed/mitigated ?

You can keep people away from your back by employing proper spacing and target swapping. No need for a complicated change of the game's already spaghetti coding when there's a simple gameplay solution to the problem.

imo I think the more pressing matter for 1vx scenario's is how terrible the target swap system is.

Easy fix for that is to hold the left stick in the direction of the person you want to Target while locking on. That way you'd be able to have 360 degrees of targeting while personally choosing who you want to lock onto.

Yes there are a few decent and simple fixes for the system and the devs did mention awhile back looking at adjusting target swap. But we haven't heard anything since then.

Yeah I remember hearing something about that, but unfortunately the devs work about as fast as the BMV.
