Since the original thread was closed (I think they took down the older forums) I figured I would post it back here on the new forums.
Hello peeps, im putting together a group for players who like to take things slow and tactical, as well as RP, the group is open on xbox and is called Alpha Gaming Network, we are not just a group of like minded people, we are also a clan, but you dont have to commit to anything to be able to join us!
All we ask is that should you join us, you be respectful to your fellow group members, help answer questions new members have, while being respectful about it, meaning no sarcastic remarks, there are plenty of toxic groups already and we want to keep that out of our group! invite your friends should you wish, report all negative behavior with proof, to a group admin, help the group grow in a positive manner and above all else, Have fun, because that is the true point of games, entertainment!
the group its self has no age requirements but that does not mean this is a "Family Friendly" group, we understand players get frustrated and need to vent, so for that very reason I am going on ahead and stating that this group does allow language so long as its not racial or religious in any form.
(BELOW ONLY CONTAINS INFORMATION FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO JOIN THE CLAN AND NOT JUST THE GROUP!)
(Please be aware the while the clan allows players from multiple timezones, we are mainly a US Based clan, so unless you are comfortable with recruiting for you own timezone, please do not join, only to complain if no one is ever online during your time zone.)
To those who wish to join in a more dedicated manner, our clan uses many names depending on the game, we also use a uniform structure as well, so if you join, please respect the uniform guidelines!
The clan name we use in military shooters, and have used since Ghost Recon 2 (PC), is Task Force Aurora, this is a military/law enforcement sim clan, the age limit for the clan its self is generally kept at 17 and up with some exceptions (14 and up) made for those who show dedication and the ability to follow the rules set before them. Our uniform is military dress, Crye Combat top and bottoms, black vest, black boots, black backpack (If you are using one) if you wish to know more, then you can message me directly, my GT is Cpt J Blackburn

Those are just some of the games we currently play, as the group expands, we hope to expand that list and to keep the group growing, to continue to provide you, the players, with a large group of people to play with, as well as possibly new friends to converse with!
As it seems some keep asking me certain questions, I am going to post those questions here with the answers.
Do you guys play extreme/ghost mode?
Yes, we do. This is to ensure people don't attempt to rush in and ruin everything for everyone else!
Do you guys play character roles?
Yes, we do, and we are rather strict on this... for example, if you tell me you want to be a sniper, then we will task you with taking out a base using nothing but a sniper rifle and a pistol.
We do not allow multiple guns to be used, if your a Medic, then more then likely, you will be using an a standard AR with an M9 (Or your single fire sidearm of choice).
Do you guys enforce the uniform policy when not in a group?
What you do outside of the clans grouped gameplay is your own business, we do not force you to wear the uniform when your playing with people outside of the clan, but if another member of the clan is in your group, you both shall wear the uniform.
Do you have any rules in terms of RP?
Yes, the main rule is, play your own gender... you can not RP a female character with a grizzly sounding voice! others would be common sense, example, if your role is the Designated Marksman, then I dont wanna see you rushing into a building first screaming "Follow me! I got this!".... know your role and play it accordingly!
Do you guys change up your tactics and stuff when you assault something? Like, do you go in by boat or vehicle any or just a helicopter like everyone else?
Yes we do, very often infact, as i grew really tired of always using a helicopter in Wildlands! the method of insertion will also determine how the RP plays out, example, if we go in by boat, we take more of a navy seal approach, either docking somewhere down river from the objective, or simply sending a 3 man team in to the target AO to complete the objective while the operator remains behind with the boat... it really all depends on the objective and if it can be done with a split team or if it requires the entire element to achieve the objective.
Do you guys have a designated drone operator?
Yes and no, this falls under the Sniper/Spotter role, but if neither of the roles are present, then we do not have a designated Drone Operator.
