Please give it a rest, no one cares about your undying love for ubisoft. Just because you love the game doesn't mean everyone else does. The rest of us want it fixed up so it plays like a Ghost Recon game and not some generic RPG.Originally Posted by SofaJockey Go to original post

"It’s a way to get closer to your customers, to make sure you have a revenue. On PC it’s only around five to seven per cent of the players who pay for F2P, but normally on PC it’s only about five to seven per cent who pay anyway, the rest is pirated. It’s around a 93-95 per cent piracy rate, so it ends up at about the same percentage. The revenue we get from the people who play is more long term, so we can continue to bring content." - Yves Guillemot
He pulled those statistics out of thin air, just saying, I don't think this guy knows what is going on beyond Ubisoft making profits or losing money. Also it wasn't the best way to go about fostering a positive relationship with the PC gaming community. I've never pirated a game, and never will. People work hard on games and deserve the money we pay for the games they make.
LMAO Do you really have to link your toxic post every time you write something? really? Is that you can also monetize the posts and I have not heard about it? ....... truly and profoundly ********Originally Posted by hoak Go to original post
Do you really have to troll every thread where people are disappointed with the game screaming "TOXIC" and "HATE" and "RACISM" and "INSULT", because you don't like, can not deal with or argue a recitation of the facts? You need help you won't find here...Originally Posted by Arbar3s Go to original post
Since the last week I just reading the posts and try not to join conversations. Because there are some Ubi lickers lurking in the forum. I bet they are employee within gamer accounts to support what Ubi did to the franchise. Sometimes I got mad what they are saying about "HOW THEY ARE LIKE THE RPG ELEMENTS IN GHOST RECON"... Yea, I would like to see some RPG elements in Ghost Recon if we would arresting a terrorist and interrogate him/her, afterwards decide his/her fate let live or kill him. Impacting story progress... This is not RPG element. Gear scoring is not RPG element. Spending your useless skill points for useless skills not RPG element. If you guys call it "YES IT IS RPG ELEMENT AND WE LOVED IT!" I would like to call you as a Fortnite generation kids who aren't played and classic Fallout games, Baldur's Gate or etc. Of course we are not expecting these kind of deep RPG elements in Ghost Recon. Actually, we didn't want any RPG elements in this title. This has to be a Tom Clancy quality story driven tactical military shooter thats all. Thats f... all.
Lastly people: Don't feed these trolls please. Don't respond their shatty defence on this title. I'm pretty sure Ubi HQ on alarm stage atm because maths tells the truth: This game's sales is FUBARed because of this shatty moves... That's enough lesson for them. Now let's just wait to fixes.
So, what makes an RPG an RPG? Hmm. Seriously. Is it attributes? Is it a stat page? What elements are RPG? Is it the type of combat? Is it not an RPG unless it's turn based? Well. I get the feeling you like old school RPGs and that's fine but they are not the only RPGs in the world. Common RPG elements come from D&D, correct? Some of those elements are stats, character customization, party of players, and decision making? So, let's take those and see that just about every game in the past 15 years have elements of those regardless of genre. RPG is possibly the most vague damn genre in all of gaming. So, don't come here flexing like your some experienced "gamer" that knows better than anyone.Originally Posted by TheDragonFlyDF Go to original post
As for your Ubi-lickers comment, I will just say one thing. if you honestly believe your own crock of ****e then you're frankly an idiot and a fool.
@Arbar3s Report and block hoak. It's all you can do until a moderator looks at their posts history. He creates posts and responds to provoke or harrass people that enjoy the game. I've currently got them ignored.
You troll man. It's atrocious and turd crap, well move on, go to play something else. It's only a video-game, We all are aware of the cons of the game, you need to keep pecking the corpse? do it privatelyOriginally Posted by hoak Go to original post
Surprised to see people throwing AC: Odyssey under the bus with so much hate, I love Odyssey, loved Origins as well. I loved Wildlands but couldn't really get into it until it had some improvements added as time went by, I'm sure Breakpoint will follow suit, I've already put plenty of time into it, I'm sure it'll improve as time goes by as well.
I am still a fan of Halo from Microsoft even though I didn't care for Halo 5, I tend to go back to the older Halo's from the MCC set now and I'm looking forward to Halo coming back to PC with Reach remastered.
Fallout now is not exactly like it was when Black Isle developed Fallout, but I still play Fallout 4(with tons of mods mind you) to this day.
The Witcher 3 is well beyond what The Witcher 1 was like, but I think The Witcher 3 is the best of the 3, and can't wait to see what CD Projekt accomplishes with Cyberpunk 2077(I'm sure plenty of people will find something to hate about it just as people found something to complain and hate about Witcher 3).
The new XCOM games are miles beyond what the original XCOM games were like, but just as with the originals, I've sank an embarrassing amount of hours into the new XCOM games and expansions.
Maybe we either learn to appreciate the games we used to play and go back to those titles, we adapt to the way the newer games are made, give feedback on the games we don't care to much for in our favorite franchises, or find another game in the vast ocean of games available to play.
Want a milsim? Arma or Squad would be something along those lines, plus there are countless mods to make it more realistic and punishing. You could even try Arma 2 with Overpoch mod for basebuilding, survival elements, AI patrols and randomly generated missions.
Like Wildlands more than Breakpoint? Wildlands is still there waiting for you to play and put more time into.
Want a survival game? Steam has plenty of survival genre games.
Want tactical stealth? MGSV is a "solid"game for that.
Just friendly suggestions.
Where I appreciate where you are coming from and I agree with some of your points, GR was the only Tactical Simulator out there, Think of more of a middle ground between Arma and MGV, that what the majority of GR lovers are disappointed with, This has lost that edge and gone into the doldrums of mediocre cookie-cutter games that all Ubi's franchises seem to be heading. Where it is enjoyable at times, its just not in the spirit of GR. It seems to me to be filled with alot of halfhearted implemented mechanics that are counteractive. Like having a GS system but you can one shot all enemies (Not Counting Drones) a injury system that is watered down by auto-regen and unlimited bandages.Originally Posted by reCLUsive7 Go to original post
