I'm still only using one gun. When I want to upgrade it I go back to where I got it. I only like the Scar H. It drops people pretty fast.

He's too busy counting his money from all the idiots that buy micro-transactions to read this.

    Couldn't have said it better

I 've been playing GR since Summit strike.GRAW is by far my favorite coz they kept all the elements that made it a GR. When Ubisoft change the gameplay in wildlands I was a bit skeptical but I still liked it coz it didn't lose all the elements that made it a GR. I don't do PVP; I enjoy a good single-player campaign and GR delivered that up until now. It is obvious BP is not designed for a single player and trying to finish the campaign in single-player mode is just 2 frustrating. That's why I finally decide to give up after a day of play. It's just SAD. I had high hopes for this and now I am utterly disappointed.

More patience and forgiveness in this letter then many of us that have spent small fortunes supporting this franchise: running servers, fan sites, creating content, mod sites -- all for nearly two decades -- we really never asked for much but a continuation, what we got here is hard to understand, and harder to forgive... I truly hope your letter gets read, and does not fall on deaf ears.

Yeah, good letter. It won't change anything. Game mechanics are already set. I would like to say why is looting wrong decision.

Here is a little example: "We are on a mission - target elimination. We have a lot of options how to execute it. So we choose silent infiltration. One shot and disappear. BUT ! All of us need to stay in the area, because of looting boxes !!! 😑"

Game is pushing players to basic routine. Clear and search the area all the time. It's annoying, burning down tactics. 😭

On the other side, loot boxes are one point of why explore the Aurora world. Why can't wemake bandages from clothes materials ? Why are we picking already done syringes instead of crafting them from herbs ? Why can't we collect weapon parts from dead bodies.... etc. Insert additional parts to the world. Leave all basic gear stuff and put it into the Mariah's shop.

Great letter, and I think this one of the few complaints that are actually legit. The game does feel like 'AC with guns'. I mean, I like AC, but I'd prefer this game to be different. Much like The Division is still an Ubisoft open world game, but different enough.

Well, writing a letter to the CEO of Ubisoft requires guts. Cookies to you OP.

But I don't share your opinion on this game, or at least I don't share what you wrote to Mr. Guillemot. You focused your letter on the loot system which you consider totally wrong. Ok.
And what about all other problems in this game?
While this system might appear similar to "The Division", there is also a HUGE difference: in TD there are gear sets where you need to find all 6 pieces to receive o.p. bonuses, while in TD2 you have to find specific high-end parts with even more specific gear slots. For a player who can play mostly only during the weekends, this is an awful problem, because the odds to find what I am looking for are very, very, limited.
Here, you just need to find a better gear, no combo-bonus to look after.

I hope you receive an answer, I would like to hear from Mr. Guillemot what he thinks about this game and how it was developed.

I decided last week-end to write a letter to Yves Guillemot that I met before and send it by the post office earlier today.

Been playing GR brand since 2001 and this is something I can let go because it's a step too far that I can't accept in Ghost Recon.

I share with you the letter that I translated in english because the original is in French as I live in Belgium next to France so the letter should be there tomorrow or Wednesday.

Go directly to page 2 because page 1 is the french one : https://www.docdroid.net/zsTzfrh/let...-guillemot.pdf

Not sure it will do something but who tries nothing gets nothing and if they add in patch after release a option to disable loot/gearscore etc... then it's a little win.

Thx for the time you poeple will take to read it.
Any response beyond a form letter from Mister YG?
