It's really possible that this letter made a difference.

Absolutely as Yvves is affirming they're doubling down with their extend and extinguish plan that they've repeatedly made abundantly clear they intend to unify around their always live and expansive feature serialization in-game purchases, and subscriptions. All Ubisoft games will be even bigger treadmills of monitization going forward, they just want more, and more polished monitization features going forward.

Hello everyone,

I decided last week-end to write a letter to Yves Guillemot that I met before and send it by the post office earlier today.

Been playing GR brand since 2001 and this is something I can let go because it's a step too far that I can't accept in Ghost Recon.

I share with you the letter that I translated in english because the original is in French as I live in Belgium next to France so the letter should be there tomorrow or Wednesday.

Not sure it will do something but who tries nothing gets nothing and if they add in patch after release a option to disable loot/gearscore etc... then it's a little win.

Maybe they dont owe you anything, but I'd at least like to see an apology, which the people that feel bitter will probably never get properly. Also, Raids could work because the game has classes. You dont NEED gear score you just need people to work together properly, I think.

i loved the early rainbow six and ghost recon games but unfortunately ubisoft have destroyed this franchise in my opinion, so glad i didnt buy this junk.

This should never had been a looter bloody shooter in the first damn place.
