The Team Color Issue: Toggle Option, Neutral Color Playlist, or Remove Team Colors?

Team colours has been an issue since the very beginning. We either spend a lot of money or a lot time acquiring the outfits only to find there is a colour restriction which robs us of the look we wanted for our characters, leaving many of us feeling cheated. After all, For Honor is considered a team fighting game, most game modes are team-based, and few modes allow neutral colours.

So why the restriction on something that is both monetised and takes considerable time to grind for? They say it is because players react better with team colours and they have the test results to prove it. To me, that reasoning only applies to ranked and competitive play where player expression isn't much of a concern. A more understandable reason would be to make the game more accessible to the colour blind but that's not what we're told every time this issue is raised. Isn't the icons above our heads enough? What is the solution?

    1. Remove team colours?
    2. Implement a simple toggle option?
    3. Add a neutral colour playlist to multiplayer?
    4. Just live with it and stop whining already?

What's everyone's take on finally resolving the team colour issue? Feel free to vote in the poll. Thank you for reading!

I have never used team colors to differentiate between teams. Since closed beta I've used the blue or orange icon. I'd vote for the removal of team colors, and just have an open color pallete.
