the difference between the system we have now and a "Weight system" is that one is logical and the other is not.Originally Posted by xxFratosxx Go to original post
it is not logical for you to take more damage because you switch from one Hat to another hat. it is logical if you are slower because you are heavier. it is logical that you take less damage if you go from naked to juggernaut armor. it is not logical that people can see you better or worst because some magical number. it is logical that people may not spot you as easy you wear a gillie suit. do i need to go on?
on cod..1. seems you didnt play the beta yet. 2. you dont have unlimited sprint. you have tactical sprint and than Sprint. also 3. COD is an Arcade shooter...just that its a joke that its more realistic than Ghost Recon as of today its not about how good cod got but how bad recon has fallen.
So do you want me to answer how carrying two primaries could be realistic, which was your original question or how weight management works both in the real world and in the game?Originally Posted by RaulO4 Go to original post
I get the feeling that you really don't care, that you are set on believing that COD:MW is more realistic somehow and that GRB is failing at being a MilSim(which it never claimed to be). It is a tactical shooter/military shooter. If you want more realistic go play ARMA3 or America's Army(the latter you can play for free).
GR has never been about realism. Here is the description of the Stone Bell mission:
60,000 armored cav pour across the border, link up with an unspecified number of rebels and we are relying on six soldiers to hold the Western flank. LOLOLOLOL... Please tell me more about GR being realistic.Word just came down from HQ, gentlemen. We have official confirmation that at 0600 hours, 3 Russian armored divisions crossed the border and linked up with rebel forces to the north. The Russian foreign minister has issued a statement condemning "International meddling in regional affairs". Look's like we've got ourselves a full-scale international incident.
For now, the US is still backing the legitimate Georgian government. Our orders are, quote, "to aid the Georgian Army's defensive operations in any way practical". Short and sweet means we've got the green light to blow stuff up.
First priority is to slow down the main armored column headed for T'bilisi. We've identified an ambush point about 60 klicks west of here where the highway crosses under a rail line. A Georgian command post is nearby. If it's overrun, their entire western flank will collapse. Take out the Russian advance patrols first, then the tanks. And keep your demolitions expert under cover until you need him. Those tanks aren't going to be stopped by anything less than a rocket up the tailpipe.

this game doesnt have a Weight system. so how are you gonna explain how it works in Break Point?

Ghost Recon WAS a realistic shooter (not mil sim) WAS is the key word. It has become an Arcade shooter worst than COD with this looter shooter system. oh look this base ball cap is gonna some how make me take less damage and be seen less! << not even cod does this...yet.
"GR has never been about realism"
...you sure played GR?
