They both became available with the year 1 season pass six months after launch. You can also buy both in the club store(or you could).

And to be honest from what i remember of them, they were not really integral to anything except for a diversion.

Not really fussed about missing out on one ickle side mission at release as there will be plenty of things to keep me occupied.

Yes, I want since I've played the closed beta. Thats the reason why I've pre-ordered it, because I enjoyed it.
There are two things which pushes me to an evantual cancelation :
    - It costs 10 bucks more than the Gold Edition, just for one exclusive mission (gear packs are useless since they give poor gear on it, or at least a one that will be obsolete after few hours of gameplay...).

    - I don't want to fall into Ubi's little cash grab trick using this poor bait to force us to pay some extra cash.

And for those who wondering, there is an Amazon Exclusive regular version which includes the Off-Road pack for free. So its one the three ultimate packs, for nothing...And if you pre-order on it we will earn the Sentinel Corp one, which give us a total of two Ultimate packs, again for free.

Thank you guys for your answers and for your help. I had read all of your posts. It really helps me out. I will now hope for a later release of this content as Ubisoft club reward or as part as year 2 pass.

You get more with the Gold version, than just an extra mission, and a gear pack. You will also get roughly 10 hours of extra gameplay, on additional islands, via the 2 DLC "adventures". Also, no gear that you get will become completely useless, because the weapons will include blueprints, so they can be crafed at any point, and everything else, will always be available to use as appearance modifiers.

I have access to it in the Auroa Edition so its not just the high end editions of the game and its only about £5 difference for me, probably less as division 2 is getting canned to pay towards gr:b

Yes, but that "edition" is exclusive to GAME stores in the UK. It doesn't apply to the rest of the world.

I'm sure that there are other countries that have similar editions available

Yes, but these in store exclusive offers, usually involve buying a physical copy of the game, which is becoming less and less prevalent every year
