What are the steps to adventure lock myself?

What do I need to do to effectively lock myself to adventure/neutral? Also, would I be able to claim the reward of pirate ship timmy, Hookhand clyde, smugglee ike and still be locked?

Not sure why you would want to be locked, as you are essentially crippling yourself. However, it is not something that is "attained" by some specific action, but rather your default state at the start of the game. You unlock yourself once you beat the adventure levels.

It isn't crippling, it's actually rather abusable.
If you stay locked into adventure, you're limited to only receiving adventure cards from packs, meaning you can very quickly max out the theme and be competitively viable from a very early level.

You might also be able to get superheros, I don't think they're story-restricted like the other themes.

Okay, I can see that motivation, though I'm not skeevy enough to use tactics like that just to get a deck powerful more quickly, so the idea never occurred to me. I mean, it's not technically cheating, just as deranking isn't cheating, but it's definitely not how the game was intended to be played. Also eliminates many choices for a deck, and cripples you in challenges, card-use events, and Team Wars.
