I am sick of every game having red hot thermals. Can we please get ubi to put in atleast the option for white hot thermals?

Right? I mean from what I saw in the closed beta the thermal looked like it was from Robo Cop, 1987 movie. My god, it is 2019 and 2025 in game so you think that the night vision and thermals would be majorly updated!!

i used thermals in huntin, construction, automotive repair, and fightin fires. And not once did i use red hot, there was the option for it. But i allwayse used white hot.

Theres also rumor that darpa has a prototype nvg that connects to a server realtime and can give the user full color spectrum IR abilities.

It captures images in greyscale IR and then the server interprets the live images (like the colonization of black and white movies) and sends it back to the user. I believe the only thing holding them back is the latency. But the game is supposed to be in 2025..... in a high tec future island.

It's not like they don't know how to do it. Every time they show one of the wolves drones using thermal in the trailers, it's using black and white. It just doesn't cause as much eye strain, as the colourized filter does.

TBH. The trailer got me really hyoed for white hot thermals. Then the beta diddnt have em iand i got bummed.. i dont thinknit would be hard to give us an option in the setting for our preference.

Another thought -- the inclusion of current-gen thermal/NVG hybrid systems, basically NVG's with thermal overlay (PSQ-20, COTI on PVS-14/15's, etc)?
